Like the case but it is hard to dock.......2006-10-17
The case is excellent in the way it looks and feels. It protects the entire iPod extremely well. It is sticky in your hand or on dash of your car. The plastic faceplate is brilliant in the way it protects and guides your thumb around the wheel.
My only real complaint is that it's compatibility with speaker docks is limited. It will not work in my Altec Lansing IM11, nor will it work with a Nyko Speaker Dock 2. It does fit into Memorex clock-radio, and into the official apple universal dock without an adapter. I had a very difficult time inserting it into a dock with the flap over the docking port cover, but after cutting it off it works well. It is possible with the flap intact, but it took me a long time time every time i tried and it would wiggle loose. It is looser than a naked iPod with the correct adapter, but not bad.

My first thought when I saw this system was...Hmmm, could be too good to be true.
I was wrong sound power fidelity and price all matched or exceeded my expectations. Cobbled with my Sound Blaster card in a 5.1 surround sound configuration. I get blown away everytime I crank it!

thease speakers r great love them it acsholly sounds better than my soround system and paid way less is nice how the wire is so long and u could pull the speakers were u want but is to bad i never bought them from amazon someboty just took the liberty and order them and charged them to my credit card i had already purchased thease speakers from my local px-army but over all their great

This system is incredible! You will not find a better set of speakers for the price. They were simple to install, and the sound is great -- I didn't need to make a single adjustment. There is no feedback of any sort.
The only thing I would warn buyers of is that the subwoofer is not magnetically shielded. Keep it at least two feet away from both your monitor and your computer, or it could potentially cause damage.

These were speakers that i have seen plenty of times at various stores aand always passed them by cause i saw the "45 watts". but after i got my new computer i wanted a speaker system that did not sound like a walkman with a speaker. so i picked these and brought them home and connected them. WOW!!!! these little boys have the sound of speakers that alot of $100 systems would like to have, and with the crisp sound at all levels and the bass that the sub can pump will have you checking to make sure someone didnt switch subs on you. these are speakers that you can crank up REAL LOUD on music,games, and movies and will blow you away every time you listen. so for the one that wants a great sounding speaker system for the computer without having to take a loan these are for you, and even if you want those $200 speakers...GIVE THESE BAD BOYS A RUN......AND YOU MIGHT REALIZE...THESE ARE THE SPEAKERS FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

I was not expecting such great sound for the price I paid. I have gotten fairly cheap speakers before for my computers and was very dissapointed with the Bass especially, but these speakers rock! The subwoofer is awesome and you get good clear sound from the speakers. I can crank them and still get good sound. Highly recommend!

The Q-10 represents the evolution of DH Labs advanced technical designs and is based upon the same progressive engineering used to develop the popular T-14. This cable features a four conductor, multiple gauge array and is manufactured using advanced winding geometries. This acts to enhance performance and cable transparency by tightly controlling magnetic fields within the cable. The conductors are DH Labs' proprietary treated silver coated OFC copper. These conductors have an ultra-smooth surface, to provide the highest possible sound quality. The dielectric is pure (PTFE) Teflon in a very precise, pressurized extrusion process. The electrical and physical properties of PTFE make it an ideal dielectric material for speaker cables.
The combination of two 12 gauge and two 14 gauge conductors equates to a 10 gauge cable with an abundance of application flexibility. The cable can be run straight, as an internal bi-wire, or a standard (external) bi-wire.
