Kevlar for your ipod.......2005-10-14
The sportsuit makes the mini larger, a fact you must come to terms with. If you want a case that accentuates the sleek, diminutive properties of your ipod, this ain't it.
BUT, if you want to protect your investment, prolong its lifespan, and confidently carry your music without fear of damage, then the sportsuit is the product you have been looking for.
With the cover off you still have significant protection for your ipod and unfettered access to the controls. With the cover on you have additional security as well handy storage for your earbuds, a feature sorely missing from most cases.
If you want to emphasize how small and cute your ipod is, buy a Nano. If you want to protect your ipod and have it for a long long time,get a Marware SportSuit.
Surprisingly poor quality product from Marware........2005-07-20
I was very excited to receive my iPod mini and the Marware Convertible the same day. However, my excitement soon diminished. This case definitely had a nice appearance (at first glance) and comes with a good amount of options for use (i.e. strong belt clip, arm bad, protective front attachment, etc). Those many options are the only reason I gave it 2 stars, instead of 1. However, upon further inspection you can see some very poor stitching work and overall assembly. But that isn't even the biggest issue, the fact that my mini has to be crammed (and I mean crammed) into the case with extreme force to even get it somewhat close to lining up the cutout for the click wheel, is absurd. Also, when you attempt to get it even close to lining up the click wheel with the cutout, it causes the bottom rubber flap (used for the dock cable) to protrude or open. As you can see in an earlier review, another user had this same issue so I have a feeling my case isn't a fluke. Just be warned when checking out this case. I am probably going to return it and look for other options today.
Absolutely no impact protection........2004-11-18
Billed as a sporty case, this product provides no actual impact protection. The very first time I dropped my iPod mini it landed on a lower corner. The impact shattered the iPod screen, chipped the corner, and the neoprene split at that corner. This was from a height of 3 feet (pocket level) onto a tile floor. I don't expect to be able to brutally abuse my equipment, but the plastic inserts for impact protection did absolutely nothing. Upon further examination, they wouldn't do anything unless the iPod landed totally flat, which is not all that likely.
The case looks fine, armband works fine, no complaints other than it didn't protect the iPod AT ALL. I only gave it two stars instead of one because there aren't any other issues. I would definitely not get this case again.

The material that Marware used to construct this case is as impressive as the ipod itself. I have dropped it a couple of times and the case protected my mini and nothing happened to it. This is worth buying and is a good investment to protect the best personal audio player on the planet.

The Marware case for the iPod Mini is a great product for the value. The armband is excellent, very comfortable - even for jogging or weight lifting.
I have two small issues that bother me about this product:
1. The case has an opening in the bottom for the iPod USB/Firwire cable. The plastic doesn't want to close well and constantly opens.
2. The front cover has a place to store your earphones, which is very hard-pressed. It could be easier.
Over all, the product is in high quality and very recommended!

Great buy........2007-10-24
After purchasing a new HK receiver I wanted a new 5.1 system. Replacing another 5.1 and 2 tower speakers these sound amazing. The sub seemed to rattle using an rca direct from my ipod, but after using the sub-out from the HK receiver the noise disappeared. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I would be willing to compare my home theater system to any high priced set-up.

Have had these for a couple of years now. Work as well as described by others. Problem is whenever I have to go behind the TV, the slightest contact with the front speakers (on stands) causes them to topple over. This had happend several times and now the base of the speakers themselves have separated from the rest of the box. Otherwise ****
HK-14 , the sound matches the looks.......2007-03-22
These well finished speakers with real metal grills (a consideration around my grandsons) are a classy looking addition to a room. I do hope the black speaker wires are paintable as they certainly are noticable. The only moderate negative is the fussy wall mounting design, just be patient and take your time. The subwoofer is a solid as a rock piece. My speakers are connected to HK AVR145 receiver and sound quality is everything I had hoped for-- great clarity, powerful and not at all artifical. My room is about 12 X 20 and there is plenty of power with these speakers and the AVR 145. I find the sound to be warm and realistic not the rather brittle, overly digital sounds my ear perceives with the BOSE speakers I listened to. I did have to use HK support for source connectivity configuration, the speaker connections were very easy due to color coded wires fo reach individual speaker. Some of the AVR 145 configurations for various inputs, DVD, satellite were not clear. HK help was patient, thorough and my configuration issues were handled in 10 minutes. My wait time was 1 minute, amazing when compared to so many customer call centers. I have previsouly had excellent luck with HK products, some of which are ten years old at this point. Highly recommended.

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
The DANE-ELEC DASD0128R 128MB SD Card, like most 128MB cards, will store on average 142 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 106 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 64 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 51 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 40 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.
I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
