Does not last.......2007-11-26
Although the product operated as advertised, it did not operate for any length of time. I've owned two of these since after the first one stopped working I assumed I had purchased a bad apple or maybe I did something I was unaware of to cause the device to stop working. The first TransDock lasted for about a month. The second lasted for about 3 weeks. Also it would pickup interference from my car's alternator.
When the device would stop working the internal fuse would not be blown. It would simply quit working. Basically the DLO product was a complete waste of money.
Go with the iRiver instead and save $$$.......2007-09-11
I bought this because the connector on the bottom gave me the impression that there would be better sound quality. Well, I was disappointed by the weakness of the signal transmitted by the device and constant hiss invaded my signal. My friend let me use his iRiver transmitter via the 1/8" jack and the strength of the signal was very good compared to the many I've used before. It is also less than half the price of the DLO. Needless to say I returned it. I have since dropped the cash for a hard wired solution and I'm pretty happy overall, but if that isn't an option, go with the iRiver transmitter and save your money from the oooh-ahh factor of the dock plug.

This FM Transmitter Is Perfect.......2007-08-21
Basically, the DLO transmitter for the Zen Vision is perfect. The cigarette ligher plug has a collar that makes the transmitter and the plug fit snug. The transmitter doesn't move around. The wire between the transmitter and zen is long enough to allow the zen to be controlled from the back seat (I keep mines tied up). And best of all, there is no static, AND I MEAN NONE. I love this thing almost as much as my family.
Extra Info to Substantiate My Review.
I have a 60GB Zen Vision M. When I entered the market for an FM transmitter, I started off with Best Buy's generic brand that plugs into headphone jack. The drawbacks of this one were that I had to balance the volume on the Zen and my radio. I almost killed myself trying to do this while I was driving. Also the wire between the Zen and the transmitter is like 2-3 inches. So when I adjusted the volume, I had to carry the transmitter, and moving the transmitter messed up the reception. I was constantly moving the transmitter (and by side effect, the Zen) so that I could get some decent reception. I had static on ever station I went to.
Between the volume and constantly having to aim the transmitter for the best reception, I wasn't getting any peace behind the wheel. These are the things a consumer needs to pay attention to, when they start looking for a transmitter. Needless to say, I returned that deadly piece of junk, purchased the DLO brand, and have been happy ever since.

As always, if you have the ability to *not* use an FM transmitter, do it. As far as transmitters go, this one is pretty good and the interference isn't that bad. I do, however, live in eastern Connecticut where the radio stations are scarce. While driving through cities, or even crossing high hills, expect to have to change frequencies. There's slight static at most all times (but that's unnoticeable while the car is moving). What wierds me out is I can hear the Zen wind up through the stereo speakers, but then that noise disappears while playing music. The unit seems to get hot while it's charging the MP3 player (but not *too* hot).

I have always preferred TDK to any tape on the market, largely
because of it's smooth transport mechanism. Although many users
like Maxell, I think the TDK Pro SM60 is my overall choice since
MA60 has become unavailable. I use two decks, a Teac W-860R and
a Pioneer CT-W 606DR, in a home studio for practice sessions with
a Southern Gospel trio.

I use this tape with my old Denon deck. The high-end is well rendered, and the low end and midrange are better. For a tape with a brighter sound and more air, use Maxell XLII-S.
