Boxes are sturdy and easy to put together. I wish the lid fit a little more snugly and that the boxes came in other colors than black. So far, the best storage I've had for CDs.

The lid of the storage box doesn't fit the box. The lid looks to be made for a box that is about 1/2 inch wider. Since the width of the box is only 5.2 inches, the extra 1/2 inch is relative large in comparison. And because of the width of the lid, the box doesn't really close. The lid just sits loosely on the top of it. The boxes are okay if you don't plan to place them where people can see them. I gave the box only 1 star because of the poor fit and also because the seller failed to response when I emailed them. I have waited almost 2 weeks and still no reply.
A great solution for CD storage.......2007-12-03
These boxes are great for music CD storage. I have several hundred CD's that were stacked everywhere. With these boxes I organized all of my stacks in a manageable manner and eliminated the clutter. These boxes are a good low cost solution to my clutter.
Not uniform size.......2007-11-27
I bought 3 of these on sale at $3.00 each and I can see why they were discounted; one was perfect, everything fit. The 2nd was tight, but the jewel cases fit in with a little persuasion, albeit a friction fit. The third was so narrow I had to put them in sideways, which wasted space. Also the boxes were short if you put the jewelcases in with the endlabels up so you could read them - you could put the cover on but it was not level and you could not stack them. It's the luck of the draw I guess, you might get a good one, then again....
Good storage for low cost.......2007-11-17
I use it for DVD storage with Fellowes CD sleeves. The sleeves are a snug fit and a little tall for the box but I usually put the top on the bottom to help support the box and leave the top open anyway to sort through the sleeves. Decent looking storage for lots of CDs and DVDs for little money.
