Good product, but does not fit too well on the 2ND GENERATION Ipod Nano. I used it anyway.
These didn't work on my iPod Nano 2nd Generation.......2007-08-07
Even after doing a great deal of online research, I couldn't find anywhere that said that these were for a first generation iPod Nano. Some of the reviews that I read (and if I recall the product information itself) stated that these overlays were for a second generation iPod Nano. Well, they didn't stay on my second generation iPod, because the second generations are rounded at the corners. In other words, when placing these overlays on a iPod Nano second generation, they don't cling to the right and left edges of the iPod, and therefore, peel up constantly. I didn't even leave mine on, as there was really no point to it. I am assuming that these might work okay on first generation iPods; however, they still didn't seem to have a lot of "stick" or "cling." They certainly didn't work on my second generation iPod though, which was frustrating. In my opinion, it should be very clear in the product information which generation iPod Nano the product can be used for. I only gave this product two stars, as they might work on a first generation iPod.
scratch-free red nano.......2007-03-16
I was paranoid the sportcase I purchased would scratch my little red investment, so I bought these overlays. It took a few tries to line up the punchouts, but they were easy to remove & try again. There is enough adhesive to keep them secure, but they will not leave a sticky residue. The only negative thing I can say is that the overlay bubbles slightly & you will notice this only when the screen is not lit. Other than that, I'm really happy with the purchase. I wouldn't buy the overlays as the only protection for your ipod, but they are great if your case does not offer the coverage you want.
