Great speakers for a great price!.......2007-12-20
I bought these speakers because they were such a good deal for 130 shipped, also because of the other reviewer here. Comes with 7 channels and a sub, and boy they sound GREAT, they are good quality. Sub is very packs a punch for 100 Watts, better then my last Onkyo 8" sub by FAR. The speakers are very good, i can turn them up and have no problems with them cracking, distorting, or popping. I have used Yamaha speakers, JBL, and Onkyo speakers, these are just as good as the old JBL's i had but smaller. I use them with a Harmen Kardon AVR 247 for DVD's and Xbox 360. Gameplay is very good with these speakers with Halo 3. I tested them out with Star Wars also and it was GREAT! I have them plugged in though HDMI on both systems. Don't hesitate buying these they are a steal!
Only thing thats bad is my Parents telling me to turn it down XD
Very good speakers.......2007-11-19
I bought these speakers to use with my older Denon 5.1 receiver, but decided to upgrade to Onkyo 605 7.1 receiver.
With both they gave very rich and clean sound in my 16'x18' living room.
These speakers are solidly built, very neat looking. Metallic paint and fabric is high quality and without blemishes. Subwoofer is small comparing to speaker sets from other manufacturers and fits nicely in more places.
Sound quality is great, and those speakers can play music and soundtracks very loud without distortion.
For around $100 these speakes is the deal, which is hard to pass.

After having tried many brands of DVD+R discs, I have found that the HP's work by far the best. They burn properly EVERY time, unlike the cheaper brands and they playback in more dvd players. Too bad some people don't know how to use them (see last comment).
Poor quality.......2002-12-14
A copy of this DVD+R came with my HP external DVD burner. DVD+R's in general are cheaper than their DVD+RW counterpart, and after trying to make a copy of a DVD, I discovered why. The DVD+RW burned with no problem, but the DVD+R disc did not. Maybe I should try more before I judge them, but based off of first impressions, this DISC gets a D- rating from me!
