Good news & Bad news.......2007-11-08

The Subwoofer is great, did have a vibration tick when cranked up. I tightened a couple of screws on back plate and it was gone. That was the only bad news. Obviously not that bad, This subwoofer along with the 800 soundbar from Yamaha make an excellent pair without all the wires needed for other sound systems. The good news is my experience with etronics because I thought I would have to return unit, within one day I had UPS return labels and the Amazon/etronics experience was all I could ask for. etronics explained when UPS picked up woofer and was in their computer system the new woofer would be shipped immediately.

This is a brilliant subwoofer. Turned it on, turned it up, put on the Matrix Lobby scene and it made my couch & coffee table vibrate.

This product mates perfectly with my ysp800 sound projector (& Sceptre 37" LCD). Together with my aging desktop and some wireless stuff, I have a small footprint system that does almost everything. The sound is great, so TV, DVDs, and 'net music services all tickle my ears.

I cannot imagine anyone not being 100% pleased with this subwoofer. It looks good, it's compact and it provides all the base you need to enjoy a movie or show in your bedroom or studio. It will not take the place of a 10" or bigger subwoofer. I purchased it with the Yamaha YSP1100 speaker. They work perfect together. Most importantly, my wife loves the sound and the look. What more can I say. She hates stero equipment.
