NXG Technology's 2-way NX-60C in-ceiling speakers are ideal for anyone seeking discreet, quality sound for music or movies. Shipped as a pair, the speakers are ready-made for stereo or left/right surround-sound applications. They come with a mounting template and are finished in white to match most ceilings. You can paint the grilles and frames, too.
Each NX-60C is outfitted with a 6.5-inch, mica-filled, polycarbonate cone woofer with a durable rubber surround. For a tweeter, both speakers use a pivoting .75-inch liquid-cooled, titanium-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. The tweeters even pivot so you can focus their output toward a desired listening area.
With in-ceiling speakers, the ceiling and the space behind it actually serve as a speaker cabinet, resonating with lower (bass) frequencies that would be lost without the focusing a cabinet provides. As such, the speaker depth is just 3 inches, yet they still deliver an impressive 55 to 21,000 Hz frequency response. Mounted flush to the ceiling, they occupy absolutely no shelf space. This discreet, compact format is perfect for applications where traditional speakers would be impractical or impossible--or simply unsightly.
The speakers' sensitivity is rated at 90 dB (1 watt @ 1 meter), which means they're easily driven; NXG recommends use with integrated amplifiers or surround receivers up to 80 watts (maximum) per channel. The speakers sound great on their own, but you can also use them as secondary speakers to bring music from your living-room system to additional rooms in the house.
NXG recommends using a minimum of 16-gauge speaker wire for all installations, keeping in mind that gauge decreases as the wire thickens (i.e. 14-gauge wire is thicker than 16-gauge wire).

Style, Strength, Flexibility - Axiom's Full Metal Bracket is engineered in lightweight, durable cast aluminum, and can handle speakers weighing up to 40 lbs. Great for centers, surrounds or bookshelves.
The bracket fits over a shaft, so the speaker swivels left or right. The speaker may also be tilted up or down to allow center-channel or main-channel speakers to be aimed towards the listening area, improving intelligibility and the stereo soundstage. An Allen-key wrench is supplied with the bracket, and mounting instructions. For heavy speakers like our M22, an optional wedge is supplied (See diagram at left).
Sold individually, in black or white. Bracket places speaker 2 and 3/8" from the wall and measures 6 and 1/8" from top to bottom.
