If you think gold plating is going to do anything on a fiber optic cable, you need to learn a little bit about light transmission. Any cable without a continuous fiber optic strand is going to sound exaclty the same, hence the beauty of digital. Save your money and buy the $5 CablesToGo cable.
Great long cables at a great price........2006-04-27
Wow these cables are great, for the price and come gold plated. They seem very durable also, with plenty of thickness and shielding. I have seen the cables from Monster and others, way over priced. These cables are just as good for a 1/3 of the price. Don't hesitate to pick up these optical cables if you can find them.I'm going to buy Whatever brand has quality at a decent price, Monster be gone. If we could just get consistant quality like these with other cables the Monster would be slain for good.
