I bought one of these for my glossy black 80gb ipod and put it on first-thing. It is nearly impossible to tell there is any protection at all--the surface of my iPod is just as glossy, but with no risk of scratches. I have tried other products but these Javo protectors are by far the best, avoiding the chronic air bubbles and plastic wrap finishes that plague seemingly all other brands. These are tough, look great and never need to be removed or realigned once applied.
If I were to look for complaints I'd mention that the surface reflects with kind of a rainbow pattern at extreme angles, and despite descriptions to the contrary these are really only one-use.
But really, any criticism is just for the sake of full disclosure. I have owned these for the iPod 3G, iPod 4G and iPod Mini and am very happy.
If you want a screen protector with basically none of the drawbacks, this is the one to buy.

This is the best screen protector I have used so far. It is nothing like those flimsy plastic adhesive-backed protectors from your local retailer. The JAVOScreen is very easy to install with no air bubbles, no fingerprints, no problem! The extra thickness/rigidity makes it easy to reposition for perfect alignment. Highly recommended for anyone who loves their iPod and wants to keep it looking like new!

Went on easily, very few bubbles and the few bubbles were easily removed. Can remove protector without residue, but it stays in place, unlike other's I have tried. If you are worried about scratches you need this product!

I've had my iPod video for a little while and a few weeks ago I managed to scratch the screen, it's a bad scratch caused by putting my keys in the same pocket as the iPod. I'm normally so careful with my devices but the mistake all but ruined the screen!
I had an idea and called upon my old friends a JAVOedge. It may well seem like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted but I thought that an Anti-Glare JAVOscreen might cover up the scratch and prevent any further damage.
So today I got my screen protector from JAVOedge and after cleaning my iPod screen I applied it. I am simply amazed at the results! Have a look at the two pictures below. In the 'before' picture you can clearly see the nasty scratch but after applying the anti-glare screen protector it is virtually impossible to see the scratch, even up close and holding it to the light you can barely see it!
Not only does the JAVOscreen hide the scratch but check out the anti-glare coating. This makes the screen so much easier to see, even in daylight it cuts out all the unwanted reflections.
When you buy a JAVOScreen for an iPod from JAVOedge you don't just get a screen protector that simply covers the screen area, the screen protector covers the whole of the front of the iPod. You also get a circular protector for the click-wheel and another protector for the back of the device!

I have tried around 7 or 8 ipod video protectors and this one is by far the easiest to place on. Also really easy to reapply if you dont line it up correctly. Also looks super on the ipod. This is so good I am going to buy a few more for when it needs replaced.

No Skipping!!!.......2007-07-14
Ended CD-R skipping in my car. Pre-recorded CDs skip only when I hit large bumps while driving. CD-Rs skip more often. Some skip every few seconds on relatively smooth roads. I tried burning at the lowest speeds, different drives, PC and Mac--no luck. These CD-R's play flawlessly, even on bumpy roads. I've tested burns at several speeds, PC & Mac, no skips. I haven't tried to print on these, but I'm very happy.
These don't eject as far out from my slot loading car CD player, I suspect because they are more substantial, but it hasn't caused any real problem.
