These cd are like small LP records, definitely look much better than regular blank CDs when you use for creating audio cd collection.

I was very disheartened when the first two disks out of the package failed to make it through a CD burning on Windows Media Player. I next tried to make a disk on Linux and it worked flawlessly... twice.
Batting 50/50 is not what I hoped for. I have yet to try the disks with other Windows-based programs. I will update as I gather more info.

I always get compliments when I hand these out. I have not had a burn error with these. Probably the black color reduces stray light from the laser "burning" / writing to the medium. I also use a black plextor 40X burner so this may add to the light reduction when burning. Great product!
Cool Vinyl CD just like my Records !.......2006-07-03
This product has no issues! The top side of the product looks just like a vinyl 45 only a little smaller with the same lines.I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the burn side and it was black colored instead of the usual silver with the green sheen. I wondered how this would burn and play in a standard CD/DVD player installed in a computer and how it would play in a standard state of the art CD stereo system. It was flawless !! I only wish they had more colors than orange for the label. I am a nastalgic and conservative guy who still misses his records.I plan on using these for special CD's and for presents to my friends.
