Will never purchase Audiobahn product again!.......2007-12-17
Product was great - at first. Then it died - spewing smoke and all! But things happen. So I contacted Audiobahn - and that is when it all started. They will not honor their own warranty unless you buy from one of their "authorized resellers'. This was buried in the product's manual and not even mentioned on the warranty card that I filled out and returned when this was first purchased. Many emails over a month long period provided no solution. The responses that I received from the "customer service manager" demonstrated that they had no concern for my business. I will go so far as to say that they were curt & rude in their responses. At no time could they come up with a reason for not standing behind their product. I refuse to do business with a manufacturer that has such little concern for their customers. Look elsewhere for a quality product that has a reputable manufacturer standing behind their products!

This sub hits really hard I have 525 watts rms on it and I only have 1 and its plenty of bass I have had the police called on me several times just for it being a little loud at like 8 on my vol. and it goes to 30 thier is only 1 thing I don't like about it the cutout of ur box must be 11 1/2 and not just 11 like most boxes are already cut the basket that holds the magnet is just a 1/2 to big so mine is mounted backwards in my bandpass box but it soundfs awsome buy it now.

When I burn music discs with these CD-R's, the first couple tracks are accompanied by annoying static over the music. Changing burn speed or playback device does not fix the problem. Never had this problem with other brands of CD-R's using the exact same equipment.
Do NOT buy Sony CD-R blank audio disks!.......2007-10-17
I bought a pack of 10 Sony CD-R 80 minute disks. Only 3 out of 10 worked. Buyer beware.

These are TERRIBLE! I needed a good recording of backing tracks for a college application CD, so I tried these. I went through five--FIVE!--and they all skipped. The files play flawlessly in iTunes, so I know it's the CD. Trust me--they're a frustrating waste of time.
No problems with my Sony CD-Rs.......2007-05-30
I have never had any problems with my Sony CD-Rs. In fact years ago I switched to Sony after having so many problems with other brands--and I have tried most of them. I got tired of burning a CD only to discover it was unreadable and had to trash it. I used to have about a 50-75% success rate burning CDs until I switched to Sony. There was one brand (in-house computer store brand) that was so bad I finally just threw out the remaining spindle full of blank CD-Rs because they were so full of defects.
Obviously, I cannot discount what others are saying about their experience but my experience with Sony has been exemplary. It does makes me nervous to read about data becoming unreadable over time but so far so good with mine. I have Sony CDs I burned years ago that play just as good as the day I burned them--and I don't always take the best of care with them either.
Based on my experience, I'll probably stick with Sony because Sony is truly the only brand I have not had any problems with. Although, I do seem to remember that Memorex performed fairly well also.
I will definitely take the negative reviews to heart. Now that I have read about the possibility of data loss over time with Sony CD-Rs, I will invest in that 500 GB external drive I've had my eye on. I can then store a back-up all of my data and it will be available in the event I need to burn another copy of a CD down the road.
UPDATE:
With the negative reviews for Sony CD-Rs in the back of my mind, when I saw Memorex CD-Rs were on sale I decided to give them a try again. Boy, I should have listened to myself when I said I was going to stick with Sony. Not one of the Memorex CD-Rs would burn. I went through about 5 in a row. Not one! The minute I pop a Sony disk in, it burned as smooth as butter. Immediately thereafter, I dumped the brand new Memorex spindle with the remaining 45 blank CDs in the trash (Deja Vu, all over again).
That's it for me. I will never deviate from what I know to be true again. For all I know Memorex reps could be writing those bad reviews of Sony. LOL! Sony has been infallible for me and with Sony I shall always remain.
