This is your average, ordinary 12' 3.5mm Stereo cable, male-male. I use it to output audio from my laptop to my TV and it serves that function just as it should.

Amazon is selling this Belkin cord for a price that's higher than Office Depot's by five bucks plus change (a mark-up of several hundred percent!). But with Amazon Prime, you're still saving twenty-six cents vs. Office Depot's price plus the postage. The ridiculous price discrepancy suggests that someone is being disingenuous--either Amazon is inflating the price to hide shipping costs or Office Depot is deflating the price to disguise the profit surplus after their actual shipping costs.
And I thought my only decision would be whether to get a Belkin or a Sony cord.
