Best monitor swing arm.......2007-11-25
I love the versatility and simplicity in design of this unit. I have used this for all the monitors in my home and my cyber cafe. It moves in every position I could ever want, it can be used to move the monitor closer (up to 18 inches forward from the wall, roughly) or nearly flush against the wall. I'm not sure if the company is still making this or not. They are fairly difficult to find, and more recently can only be found here on Amazon used. The vendor is great, and I have never hand a problem with missing hardware.

This mount is well-made and sturdy. It was fairly easy to mount it to the wall, although the weight made it a little awkward (a third hand is helpful). Something that should have been emphasized in the instructions is that the mount MUST be leveled, or the LCD panel will tend to swing one way or the other. Otherwise, I have no problems with this equipment.

This is a very well made wall mount but it can't keep my monitor from pivoting down. It could just be my monitor is top heavy but it is around 20 lbs. and they claim it should be able to handle 30 pounds. Even tightened fully for tension it still flips down. No fear of falling just needs to be braced to keep perpendicular.

I used this mount to put my NIKO-OTP2011R 20" flat panel TV. It was really easy to install and came with extra screws (I guess that's to be flexible with other VESA model, the NIKO is a VESA 100). There is a tool included to tighten the joints on the mount if you need them tightened. When I first looked at this product online and even when I first received it, I was worried because I saw that the mount only uses 2 screws to attach to the wall (or whatever you attach it to). I was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough, but I was wrong, it is absolutely strong and sturdy enough. Make sure that your TV isn't more than the weight limit.
