Item came just in time for me to take it overseas. Is as advertised and will perform an important function if you want to connect a large screen TV to your computer. With the amazing number of TV shows and Videos that are available on the net these days that ability is almost mandatory. Not to mention playing PC Games on your big screen TV. You loose quality if you try and display images from a PC to a TV using RCA cables or S-Video cables but these cables give you precision video with the added plus of integrating sound on one cable.

I pulled RapidRun cable for analog PC/audio, component video and DVI digital through about 30 feet of conduit. I used the 35 foot cable. I was very impressed with the picture quality of the analog PC at 35 feet. Before these cables we had some thick VGA cables with soldered on connectors. They would not work without an amplifier and eventually failed altogether. I was surprised that the RapidRun cables have excellent picture quality without the amplifier. The additional audio lead was also a big plus. These products are obviously very well made. You do pay a substantial amount more than standard cables, but the quality, ease of installation, ability to run more through smaller conduit and time savings are a big compensation.

Rapidrun is the way to go.......2007-05-16
I wanted to connect my computer to a 22 inch LCD monitor in another room. I decided to put a VGA outlet on the wall and run cable through the crawl space to the other room. Getting a 35 foot VGA cable to carry the signal was not a problem. Drilling a hole large enough for a VGA connector through the all the lumber that was in the wall and under the floor was a very big problem. With Rapidrun I was able to drill a much smaller hole. I passed the Rapidrun cable through the hole, attach a VGA wallplate on one end and a VGA pigtail at the other and the problem was solved. I get 1680 by 1050 resolution thirty-five feet away as good as I would get with a six foot cable to my desktop. My next project will be to use Rapidrun to connect to an LCD projector.
