Customer Reviews:
Nice camera!.......2007-12-28
Love this camera, it replaced a Sony Cybershot and it's completely lived up to my expectations. I'm certainly nothing more than a casual user, typically I use it for real estate photos so the wide-angle and image stabilization have been handy. I imagine they'd be helpful to just about anyone who's the same as I am ... someone who doesn't need lots of bells and whistles. I've been very happy with it.
What could be better?.......2007-12-28
First, my apologies to the extreme photo enthusiasts out there who typically write these reviews. They speak of chromatic aberration, barrel distortion, noise at high ISO settings, the need for a view finder, and the like. I am not one of you. You are great and I love to read that stuff, but I needed a camera that had a big, clear display, was simple to operate, and takes great snapshots at family gatherings and on vacations.
If you are like me, then get this camera. It has a big, clear display, it is simple to operate, and it takes great snapshots at family gatherings and on vacations.
My wife and I were dazzled by the display. It is beautiful, even in bright sunshine. That is probably my biggest complaint with the reviews I read on this camera, that the LCD is not good in bright sunshine. Those reviewers are wrong. Even with my poor eyesight I have no trouble framing my shot and then viewing the resulting photo in any lighting conditions except the darkest of rooms, where even a view finder would have problems.
This camera has a LOT of options, but the options that I use the most are right there and as simple to find as any digital camera I looked at, and I looked at a lot of cameras. The options I need the most are:
1. On-Off. Sounds stupid, but on some cameras, this is not that easy.
2. Shutter button. Big and easy to find by touch.
3. Zoom. The toggle for this is small, but it is a small camera. On all small cameras the zoom buttons are small. I like the toggle right up there by the shutter button. You can easily move your finger from the shutter button to the zoom and back without looking.
4. Flash on-off. Done with the little round rocker on the back. The little round rocker on the back is small and the icons on it are hard to see for older people, like myself. However, this is a problem for all small cameras. It's just a tradeoff you make when you get a small camera. It has to be small to fit on the small camera. Once you find it though, it is easy to remember, plus when you touch this rocker, a larger representation of it appears on the screen. This will help you find the flash on-off function.
5. Timer. It is on the little round rocker also.
6. Reviewing the photos that you already took. This function is a little bit complicated on every digital camera I have ever seen. On the SD870IS, it is about as simple as any I have seen. It is something you have to practice if you want to be able to do it quickly and seamlessly.
7. Getting the photos off the camera. I have played with the software that comes with the camera and it is OK. No better and no worse than other software I have seen and tried to use. Rather than mess with it and also train my wife on how to use it, we just prefer to do it the way we did it with our old camera. Not real simple (certainly no more difficult than the Canon software), but we have a routine that works for us.
The picture quality is great. Some flash shots are a little over-exposed, but we adjust that with Picasa. Easy to do. Over all, the quality of pictures we get is better than we got with our old digital camera, a Panasonic. It would take some great pictures but it was inexplicably inconsistent. Still, it was a fine camera that took a lot of abuse. Still works but it has a too-small display and we were ready to change after 5 years with it.
One other little bonus...the camera is ready to go within a second or two of turning it on. That is a very nice feature. Some cameras take quite a bit longer. This is not a big deal for patient people, but it is nice.
Are there negatives? So far I have found one little quibble. I agree with other reviews that finding a way to hold this camera is not intuitively obvious. You have to work with it to find a way to hold it without getting a finger in front of the flash, or to hold it with one hand. I think that is the price you pay when you buy a small camera that has almost the whole back taken up by an LCD display. But for me, the huge LCD display was one of the big selling points. And I must say that I was not ready for how beautifully this display works.
I did not review the hundreds of other options with this camera because I probably won't use them much. But the Canon SD870IS fits my requirements very well. If your requirements are like mine, I encourage you to take a good look at it.
Great camera.......2007-12-26
Just wanted to say that this camera has it all. It works out in any situation. If you are looking into purchasing this camera, well worth the money.
Great Camera!.......2007-12-26
This camera was the talk of our Christmas parties this year, as it is just so easy to use. The large display allowed even our old eyes to see if we needed to retake those important shots. This is a must-have camera for point & shoot folks like us!
Canon SD870IS.......2007-12-26
Crisp clear pictures, faithful colors. A big improvement over my old Canon S110. I miss the optical viewfinder.

Don't bother.......2007-12-24
I took a chance and bought this. It came quickly but only lasted 3 days and then gave out. If you want to buy a charger then go with Belkin or another reliable model. This one didn't make the grade. I guess you get what you pay for.
An Ipod Must Have.......2007-12-14
Having this adapter has made charging my Ipod so much faster and efficient. No more waiting a rediculous amount of time just plug it in and in less than an hour I'm good to go!!!
Its good..........2007-11-30
CTA Travel charger for iPod is real cool. As it is 40$ with Apple, I was looking for a cheaper, quality stuff...and this travel charger proves to be one...I am happy!
Cheap and Fast!.......2007-11-30
Glad I purchased this. It's a fanastic price and charges fast. Serves it purpose.
Awesome Charger.......2007-11-18
Although it came in a day after I left for a trip, as soon as I got home I charged my ipod. This is the second time I buy one of these (the other was a gift to my sister). Nonetheless, a great good working product.
Product Description
The La Crosse Technology BC900 AlphaPower battery charger is a fully-featured, yet easy-to-use battery charger. It has charge, discharge, refresh, and test modes comes with 4 "AA" and 4 "AAA" rechargeable batteries, 4 "C" and 4 "D" battery adaptors, and a carrying case.
Customer Reviews:
The La Crosse BC-900 AlphaPower Battery Charger comes up a bit short.......2007-12-28
Although this little La Crosse Technology BC-900 Battery Charger appears to be of excellent quality and does what it is made to do, it is limited in the size batteries it can handle. Available product descriptions seem to indicate that the little charger can recharge any common-sized batteries found in the home but that is not the case. The BC-900's ability does not include a couple of the most common ones! Other than that limited capability, it is worth the price.
Recommended, but with one caveat..........2007-12-28
I ordered this unit so that I could use rechargeables for a Vivitar 285 flash unit. After charging the AA batteries provided to "Full" status, I popped them in and... nothing. I then popped the same batteries into a smaller Canon flash unit and they worked fine. For whatever reason, the batteries provided are not compatible with the Vivitar flash. I then tried some Sanyo Eneloop batteries which I had ordered separately and, thankfully, those batteries worked fine in the Vivitar flash. At this point, I can recommend the BC-900 charger, but users should be aware that there could be some compatibility issues.
Great battery charger package.......2007-12-27
I was on the verge of tossing my rechargable batteries before purchasing this charger. The charger reduced the memory effect on the batteries and improved the capacity by more than 60% (my 2.5 A/h batteries were only holding about 1.5 A/h). I used the charger to first tell me the existing capacity. Then I used the REFRESH mode to discharge/charge to full. Very cool. I tried the TEST mode once and gave up. It seemed to be taking a long time, but that was probably user error or impatience.
I also love the C and D battery adapters. I've used these in some of my children's older toys and they work great. (I haven't tried flashlights or other higher-drain devices yet.)
Easy to use. It's great.
Great Charger for the geek.......2007-12-25
Really cool charger if you want full control. It is designed by someone who really appreciates batteries. It's also easy enough for a grandmother to use. I would buy another one in an instant. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because when a battery is really depleted (ie left on in a flashlight by your kids), it doesn't recognize the cell. Even if you leave it in for a long time. I have to put those batteries in another charger for a few seconds so that they have a voltage, then plop it into the BC-900. It would be nice if it would just send out a small pulse of voltage every 1/2 hour or so, so that eventually even depleted cells would start to charge. Maybe this was fixed in a new version. I've had mine for a few years now. Thumbs up!!! And you won't find another charger that gives you the information and control over you batteries that this one does. As a benefit you can rate the capacity of your batteries and get rid of the bad ones or match them up with similar capacities.
Better than my other chargers.......2007-12-25
After going through 4 or 5 chargers in the past few years, and untold numbers of batteries, I decided to get a 'good' charger. It was either this or the Maha charger for almost $100, but I honestly couldn't justify spending that much on a charger.
This charger is the best I've owned. It tells you how much charge the batteries have, and the refresh option really does make a difference.
It shows that many of my batteries aren't living up to their potential, and showed me that the ones my mom got with her cheap charger were already bad, only holding about 10% of their capacity.
It is a bit complicated, but after reading the manual you'll get the hang of it.
The C and D converter things are interesting, though I haven't used them yet.
I'm still interested in seeing if the more expensive Maha charger is worth the price difference, but I'm happy with this charger for now. This charger is only slightly more expensive than a good non-LCD charger, and having the readouts is well worth the $10-$15 difference.

Customer Reviews:
Ideal device.......2007-12-14
Plug your iPod in (pretty much any model created in the past 4 years) and it will charge. Simple device, and for those that have a iPod that requires the dock connector cable, an extra one is included.
I had the previous generation charger which was larger -- this one is incredibly small and still lets you use the international changeable plugs.
You can use some powered USB hubs as well for charging iPods away from computers, but having the AC adapter is convenient for traveling.
The price isn't super cheap, but considering that the USB/dock cable included is $19 on its own, it makes the AC adapter only cost $10 -- not bad.
Not absolutely necessary for everybody. Perhaps I could have gone with a generic alternative, but would be slightly worried that it could blow up or something, and I also have some of the Apple international adapter plugs that work well with this adapter. In other words, the Apple white always looks cool and the small form factor is excellent.
Not a good value.......2007-12-11
I assumed that this charger would recharge my iPod faster than the usb connection on my computer.
But it doesn't and it's to expensive. I have seen third party chargers for much less.
Great Product!.......2007-12-07
This product is a genuine apple item. It is an easy way to charge you ipod. It is compact, easy to carry with you and is worth the price!
Recharge your iPod or iPhone with AC.......2007-12-05
This product also comes with a snap-off prong that connects to the power. If you buy Apple's world traveler kit you can also use this device outside of the United States. This product also includes a iPod/iPhone USB cable that can be used either with the plug, or connected to a USB port.
I've also used it to recharge other USB devices.
Does what it's supposed to.......2007-11-21
This came with my ipod when I bought it. It's nice to have around to charge your ipod if you don't have a computer around. Just plug it in and it'll charge the ipod in a couple of hours, and you can listen while it charges. Does what it says it will.
Having said that, I think it's kind of ridiculous that people are calling this a "must have". Obviously, it's not a must have, there's already a perfectly good way to charge your ipod. It's a handy thing to have around if you aren't always attached to your computer, and have an extra $30 that you don't have a better use for. If you are always going to have your computer with you when your ipod needs charging, then go spend your money on something else, because this gadget is pretty redundant.

Product Description
The classical advantages of rechargeable batteries are: high performance, especially if high discharge currents are required ( like in digital cameras ) cheap in use, because they can be recharged many times; environmental friendly, because one rechargeable battery replaces 1000 disposable batteries; good performance at low temperatures. A special feature found in eneloop batteries from Sanyo is an extremely efficient (low) dormant discharge rate. That means, when not used, the charge is retained for long periods. Of course you (and we) recommend using these batteries over and over/ Just in case you don't, you can be assured the battery will retain up to 85% of its charge over the course of a year.Because the eneloop has a very low self-discharge, SANYO can ship the batteries in a charged state so they're ready to use out of the pack. In contrast to a disposable battery the eneloop can be charged 1000 times. This saves the environment and your purse. Thus one eneloop saves the waste of 999 disposable batteries. Even if you consider the slightly higher cost of the eneloop compared to a disposable battery and add the cost for the charger and the energy consumed by the charger, the investment for one eneloop returns easily after a few charging cycles. Imagine how much money you have spent for batteries in your life. Now there is an end to this spending!
Amazon.com Product Description
In years past, you had to recharge your rechargeable batteries before leaving on a trip or sliding them into your electronic device. Otherwise, you ran the risk of depending on nearly dead batteries once you reached your destination, as stored power tends to degrade over time. Now GE/Sanyo steps into the void with its eneloop line of batteries, which come pre-charged and ready to use right out of the pack. Even better, the batteries have an extremely low self-discharge rate, with the ability to maintain 85 percent of residual capacity after one year of storage and 70 percent residual capacity after two years of storage. As a result, leaving home without recharging the batteries won't ruin your Bryce Canyon vacation or cross-country plane trip.
Eneloop batteries offer a number of advantages over traditional alkaline batteries, including up to four times more power when used in a digital camera, high performance even at low temperatures (down to 23 degrees F) during your winter vacation, and a vast cost savings in the long run. The eneloop advantages are even more glaring when compared to typical NiMH batteries: not only are they ready for use right out of the box, but they generally last longer than most NiMH batteries (continuous and frequent recharging can destroy other NiMH models) and save both time and money (traditional NiMH charging is slow when you're in a hurry, while rapid chargers are expensive). All told, you can recharge eneloop batteries up to 1,000 times without experiencing a memory effect; just charge the amount you need and you're set.
This compact eneloop charging kit comes with four 2,000 mAh AA batteries, which are ideal for everything from digital cameras to TV remotes to portable audio players. The kit also offers a number of safety features, including an over-voltage protection system that shuts down when a dry-cell battery is accidentally inserted and a built-in protection system that boasts industry-leading safety and reliability features. And thanks to the unit's foldaway AC plug--which offers worldwide voltage--you can take the lightweight charger virtually anywhere.
Customer Reviews:
Good Buy.......2007-12-28
I don't know what is about these rechargeable batteries, but they work like a dream. They can sustain a charge for a very long time. I have been using them in my Cannon digital camera since June and I have not had any difficulty with them whatsoever. When I first got my camera, I bought some brand name regular digital camera batteries and they lasted all of one week and I found myself buying more and more and just tossing them after a few days or a week. So, I did my research and discovered the Eneloop. They charge in a decent amount of time, and the handy charger makes it easy to recharge them. It's not bulky or flimsy and it comes with a cover. But I have not found that I need to charge the batteries frequently to get maximum use. I don't use the camera frequently, but 2-3 times per month to snap pictures of my kid at various events, these batteries have never failed me though. I tried two other brands of rechargeable batteries, but these are the ones that performed the best. I bought them at a retail store based on reviews I read on Amazon and I needed them right away. But, the store was practically sold out--I guess I wasn't the only one desperate for Eneloop. But I eventually found some. And now that I'm having another kid, I'm gonna buy more for all of those baby toys that require batteries, which seems to be all of them!
GREAT batteries and charger for digital cameras!.......2007-12-26
Wow! These batteries last SO much longer than the regular Alkalikne AAs I had been using in my digital camera. The charger is awesome too, as I can have 4 charged batteries. This means an extra set just waiting until I need them. And, since they are low self-discharge... no run-down while they are waiting to be used. Definitely give these a try!!!
Great charger!.......2007-12-26
When I purchased several packs of the AA rechargeable Eneloop batteries, I purchased this charger, Sanyo Eneloop Battery Charging Kit with 2,000 mAh AA Rechargeable Batteries (2-Pack), to go along with them. This charger is easy to use and works as expected. The price is reasonable, and you get 4 batteries with it. I would recommend this charger to go along with your batteries. I have been telling everyone about it, along with the batteries. A great product.
worth 6 stars, if possible.......2007-12-06
Simply the best batteries on the market today. Rechargeables which come charged, have the shelf life of alkalines, and yet give more uses than the best alkalines, and can be charged 1000 times? What's not to like?? Forget throw aways, forget the other brands of rechargeables, these are the ones to get, and the charger is a "smart" charger so it knows how to charge properly for optimal battery life.
very handy!.......2007-11-29
I got the charger because I have two digital devices that were constantly sucking up batteries. The charger works great, it is very simple to use, and it comes with batteries! It's really saved me a lot of money in just a couple of months.
Average customer rating:
- Eneloop batteries, what a wonderful invention.
- I am replacing all my Nimh batteries with these.
- Best rechargeable AA batteries I've ever used

Eneloop batteries, what a wonderful invention........2007-12-28
I have been using Monster batteries for years and thougt there was nothing better, but eneloops arrive ready to go and just last an amazingly long time. I have been extremely pleased with these batteries in my new camera and flash attachment. These items are notorious for eating batterie. Eneloop's keep going when I would have had to stop for a recharge before. I bought a Lenmar Mach1 charger and I am ready to go again in short order. I do recommend keeping a couple of sets for backup (one set for camera and one set for external flash), since some outings are longer than others and I get carried away with the individual flowers or scenes that I want to get as a perfect shot. I haven't tried them in my portable cassette player yet, but have several books on tape that I haven't listened to yet, so their time for trial is coming. Great in the external flash for that bounce lighting shot.Great product. Have a set of rechargeables that came with Lenmar charger and they are not nearly as long lived, so I can't say enough good things about eneloop batteries.
I am replacing all my Nimh batteries with these........2007-12-26
I love Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. I got gadgets and toys all around the house, so I constantly charging batteries to have them ready when I need them. But as you know, they are unuseable after you put them in the shelf for a month. Which is a waste of time and energy. If you really want to be green, then you need these low-discharge batteries. I have started to replace all of them with Eneloops.
The only problem is? Now there are bunch of low-discharge batteries coming out. Kodak, Rayovac, I also see some at Thomas Distributing which are cheaper than Eneloops. I do not want to mix them up, plus have not tried the others. So, I stick with this brand at this time.
Best rechargeable AA batteries I've ever used.......2007-12-26
I've been using rechargeable AA batteries for camera and flash use since the 1970s. Yikes, I feel old :). We have had two sets of these for a year now and they are far and away the best I've ever tried. The low self-discharge rate makes them useful in ways that traditional NiCad and NiMH batteries aren't. Traditional rechargeables are useless in applications where they might sit for a time then be put to heavy use.
I haven't done the detailed analytic testing of some other reviewers, but after a full year of regular use I can say that these are everything you want in a battery. Powerful, long lasting, easy to recharge and never the source of frustration or disappointment!
Finally a rechargeable that is charged when you need it.......2007-12-26
Have used rechargeable batteries for over 30 years. These are the best I have ever used. Old NiCd batteries don't have the capacity and have memory effect. New high capacity metal hydride require charging just before use as they self discharge so quickly - allways dead when I go to use digital camera or radio. These can sit unused for months and still have almost a full charge. Store FRS radios in truck and they are still useable for 8 hours after sitting for almost a year!! I currently own 40 AA and 30 AAA. Highly recommedned
Great batteries!.......2007-12-26
I purchased these batteries to use in my new Canon Powershot S5 IS digital camera. It sure is nice to purchase pre-charged batteries! I have been taking a lot of pictures and the batteries still are going strong! My friends are always putting new batteries in their cameras, while I am still taking pictures! I have been recommending them to everyone! I keep referring everyone to the Eneloop web site, so they can read about how they work and how long they last compared to regular batteries. I have also purchased some more of them for other digital products that we own. We are definitely very happy with them! I would recommend them for all of your electronic products! GE/SANYO eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries. By the way, the charger is a nice addition to them, too!

This four-pack of 800 mAh AAA batteries is ideal for everything from electric shavers to TV remotes to portable flashlights.

Love these!.......2007-12-26
These are the best rechargeable batteries I've found. They hold their charge for longer than any other I've used, and they charge quicker, too.
Great Batteries.......2007-11-26
These are the top batteries on the market. MUCH more durable than regular rechargeable ones. RECOMMENDED!
Batteries that keep their charge.......2007-11-25
Great batteries that don't discharge waiting for their next use. I know that when I pick up my flash unit a week or a month from now, the charge will still be there.
Not your normal, crummy NiMH battery.......2007-11-17
I replaced the batteries in my engineering model calculator with three AAA eneloops several weeks ago. The batteries have kept going and going compared with regular NiMH AAA's which are not suitable for long term low drain devices like this because they won't keep going and going. They disapate far too quickly. You would have to recharge them so often it would make you crazy.
I also like the idea I can keep several sets of eneloops charged up and ready for use in my camera, a high drain device, for which a regular NiMH might be useful. Problem is I don't take all my photos within a day or two and regular NiMH's disipate. Once again, I have to recharge. Not so with eneloops. For me these batteries are the greatest.
2700 mAH's (or more in the future) of energy storage capacity for the highest regular NiMH's does not trump eneloops 2100 mAH for me if most of the 2700 mAH's disipates within days of its having been charged. TV remote controls, calculators, shavers and all sorts of uses where alkalines were more appropriate eneloops (or other hybrid NiMH batteries) can now be used. Good job!
Dated September 2006.......2007-11-13
I received them this week and was surprised at the date on them and more so that when I put them in my remote they worked perfectly without recharging them. I think the advertising is true. I'll add an addendum if I find they do not last long or there is some other issue. As for now, I'm impressed.

Midland GMRS 2-way radios.......2007-12-13
I have been using 2 way GMRS radios for about 15 yrs from fishing in Alaska to bird hunting in Ohio. I have tried several brands recently and these have been the best for clarity of voice and distance, regardless of price. I first tried them in NW PA 2 weeks ago steelhead fishing in a twisting canyon for a distance slightly over a mile. They worked fine. What a blessing to have a charger to set them in at night so they are ready to go the next morning. I set them up with manual activation rather than voice. I like the "beep" feature when the transmit button is released, NOAA weather radio that really works, and a size that is not the smallest, but that might be why they work so well. The only negative is that they have so many features you can use, it takes a bit of practice setting them up so everyone is communicating the same. Four of us (2 sets)are using them and all comments were positive.

Good hand held .......2007-11-22
A very good hand held radio for family communications at a reasonable distance of 3 to 4 miles, but if you are expecting to be able to communicate at the claimed 26 mile range, you will be disapointed, as you will be with any of these types of hand helds that claim over a 5 mile range, unless you can get access to a repeater, and that is a whole nother situation which requiers an FCC licence.
I bought these for there small size, ease of operation and solid construction, they perform as I expected and I am very satisfied.
Great radios.......2007-11-07
We used these in the NC mountains on a large piece of property that we own. Our cell phones don't work there, but these radios were great. We ordered a second pair for when more family is in the area!
GMRS Radio Performance.......2007-11-06
I recently purchased two Midland GXT710VP3 22-Channel GMRS 2-way Radios. I find that they operate very well. They are easy to operate and communications is good. However dont expect the 26 mile range they advertise. Like any other GMRS radio, you can expect about a four mile range under perfect conditions and in nonperfect conditions a mile or less is common. Perfect conditions is straight line.
Excellent for Florida Parks.......2007-10-22
I bought for use it in Disney and Universal and works perfect, very clear in open spaces. Some problems, that I expected in this radios is for communication in the city, the distance is very low (I think is no longer than 1 mile)
Maybe I expect more duration of the batteries but for the whole day is enough

Great Value.......2007-12-27
What a great value! I've purchased cassette tape recorders that were almost the same price as this digital voice recorder. It's simple to use, compact, and works well.
Playback Controls Details.......2007-12-26
The purpose of this review is to let readers know about how the "fast forward" and "rewind" functions work on this unit (I found that sufficient detail was lacking in the product descriptions and even the instructions that came with the product).
The large ring you see on the front of the product allows you to initiate fast forward / skip forward and rewind / skip back. Pressing the right side of the ring starts fast forward (FF). As you press and hold FF, nothing happens for 1 second, then the unit beeps twice quickly and silently begins advancing through the currently playing recording. Holding down one second beyond the two beeps advances about 15 seconds, two seconds beyond the two beeps 45 seconds, three seconds beyond the two beeps, 90 seconds. Each additional second beyond the third second advances about 50 seconds through the recording. So if you pressed for 9 seconds past the two beeps (for a total of 10 seconds), you would advance 6.5 minutes.
Instead of skipping forward, this unit also has the ability to playback at 150% speed, but that doesn't get you very far if you really want to advance ahead.
Another fact not described in the literature is whether the unit picks up in the middle of a "track". The news is good here: if you stop in the middle of a track, and "power off" (actually called "hold" from some strange reason), then "power on", you will start at the point you left off (not at the beginning of the track).
This unit and associated PC software allow for only the movement of files from the recorder into the PC (not from the PC into the recorder). So although the FF function would allow it, the unit is NOT good for someone who wants to listen to podcasts (and skip commercials). To get that function, choose another model that allows MP3 play.
Da bomb, baby!.......2007-12-25
I know, I know, I've been away for a while but I'm back y'all. Emko-style!
The people giving this low reviews are biznatches, this recorder is fantastic. What more could you want from something that is meant to record voice??? I mean, really? You can download easily to your computer and burn to cd, voice quality is amazing at HQ setting and has a really long recording time. It does what it's supposed to do! If you're thinking about buying it, don't hesitate, it's da bomb baby. Emko out.
Great recorder...........2007-12-24
I purchased this recorder for a class and for small classrooms it works great. Make sure the volume is turned all the way up and you'll be fine. I picked up from Circuit City for $49 to avoid shipping costs, and the store honored the price even though it was listed for $10 bucks more. Great buy.
An excellent value.......2007-12-21
The Olympus VN-4100PC is an excellent value. It's perfect for tasks such as recording a lecture or meeting, making verbal to-do lists, practicing a speech or presentation, and so on. Some reviewers criticize it because it's not very good at recording music, and the play-back is monaural, and they're right. It's not really designed for professional-style, stereo recording. As is the case with all machines, you have to live within its design limits.
The VN-4100PC has some very nice features that make it a
