My son loves his Nuvi!.......2007-12-28
My son and I both love the Nuvi we bought for him. The compact style is so convenient for switching vehicles. We enjoy the graphics and it keeps getting us where we need to be. I want to buy one for myself...
For the simple traveler.......2007-12-28
I am a simple traveler so this is PERFECT for me. I get lost very very easily. This nuvi does the trick. Of course, it doesn't have new roads preloaded, but it gets me where I need to go. I love the voice directions. This is great for someone who needs an inexpensive gps.
Garmin Quality = Highly Recommended.......2007-12-27
A great no frills portable GPS! Garmin's base model combines inovation and simplicity.
It's like having a phone book and a map of the United States right at your fingertips!
With a price of $170, it's hard to beat. If I was going to buy another one I would shell out the extra $50 for the 4.3" screen, it's a lot easier to see.
If you're looking for a simple navigation system that anyone (even grandma and grandpa) can use.....trust Garmin!
Excellent, for the price!.......2007-12-27
A great GPS for the price. Bought two of these for less than other models. Does the job and can clearly hear the directions. The visual is as clear and easy to use, right out of the box.
More than shortest route required.......2007-12-26
I have one thing to add to the other reviews on the Garmin 200. Despite generally competent performance it tends to be VERY STUPID in picking certain routes. Apparently it goes for the shortest route without giving any weight or consideration to the nature of the roads themselves. Thus, going from Blacksburg, VA, to Roanoke, VA, it selects a narrow torturous
state road, which one drives at one's peril, especially at night, instead
of the fast, safe and efficient US 460 - Interstate 81 route which any informed person would take. I have been reluctant to put it on my wife's
vehicle for this reason.

Excellent!!.......2007-12-28
Purchased Garmin C530 Portable Navigator for a Christmas gift. Besides being totally thrilled with the gift it does everything it states it will. The directions were great and the product works perfectly. Now my husband thinks I need one. He highly recommends this navigator.
Garmin Review.......2007-12-27
I purchased this product as a gift for a friend. I was instantly impressed with the easy of operation and fast link to satellites. As a resuly I purchase a similiar one for myself.
How'd we live without this?!!.......2007-12-27
This is like the microwave. For years people survived without one. However, once you experience how much easier life becomes with a GPS system you can't imagine life without one!
I purchased this based on reviews and am very happy with this GPS system. For the price this seemed to be the best value.
I purchased one and picked up one for another Realtor in my office. He also loves his. Has made our day to day life easier in the business. It's also been wonderful for trips!
I wish it said the street names like a few others do but I did know what I was getting before I bought it.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with this Garmin!

Great Product.......2007-12-25
I have a c330 Garmin GPS and because of my positive experience, I purchsed two of the c530 Garmin GPS for Christmas gifts for my family.
I like it a lot!.......2007-12-25
I was using a PDA for a GPS but could not see the screen in bright conditions or hear the speaker very well. This Garmin is great. It is fast to lock on and even picks up signals in the bottom floor of my two story house. The speakers are loud enough to hear with the radio playing and the screen is bright. It is fantastic for going thru big cities as you know well in advance what lane to be in. After a recent road trip with friends they bought one too. Highly recommend.

The KX-TG6074B is an expandable digital cordless answering system with 4 handsets. When a call comes in, this phone doesn't just let you see who's calling, it actually tells you who's calling with Talking Caller ID. You can slow down the playback speed of recorded messages by 30 percent at the touch of a button. And with this system's all-digital answering system, those messages will already be crystal clear and easy to retrieve, with up to 18 minutes of recording time.By simulating a band signal above and below the normal bandwidth limitations, Voice Enhancer Technology helps clarify and improve sound reception creating a natural-sounding voice that is easy to hear and understand.
Customer Reviews:
Panasonic does it again.......2007-12-27
The Panasonic 6074 had the features I wanted with a brand name I trust. In particular, the talking caller ID allows us to keep about our activities without having to look at a display to read that it is yet another telemarketer. The intercom feature is a bit unusual in that I have to select a particular handset to call rather than simply ringing all handsets to locate a person. I suppose that would be more appropriate if a phone were in a particular bedroom, etc.
Sound quality is good, and the speakerphone function is better than expected. I dare suggest Panasonic has caught up to AT&T sound quality, and in my opinion have always exceeded them in reliability.
a great household unit.......2007-12-26
Bought the KX-TG6074B as a replacement for our V-Tech system, which lasted only just over a year! The Panasonic seems to be of quite good quality - feels solid, charges easily, and is pretty straightforward to use. The speakerphone capability in each handset is actually quite handy as well. Very happy with purchase.
Nice features........2007-12-26
We especially like the speakerphone feature. We could all chat together over the holidays, rather than have to run to different rooms to pick up the extensions. The intercom is also a neat feature. A great way to call the kids for dinner, or if you have to ask a question. We like the voice caller ID. I can ignore the phone and let the kids pick up when their friends call.
Decent set for the price.......2007-12-24
Tired of our other phones from Siemens (interference with the microwave, charging problems, etc.) we bought this set as a replacement. Overall a decent bargain and would recommend it at a good price.
4 phone set works great.......2007-12-24
I have a 2-story house , and there was no problem with static,
or range problems. All 4 phone are identically free of static, and they all can receive (read) the messages. Intercom feature works well too. These phones are great in every way that we use them .

1 requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call.

See Who's Calling, Even If You're Already on the Phone
We've all become accustomed to Caller ID and its ability to let us see who's calling before we answer the phone. But what happens when you're already on the phone and another call comes in on Call Waiting? Until now, you wouldn't know who was beeping in unless you answered it. With Call Waiting Caller ID
1, you get the best of both worlds. So now when you get a beep, you can see who's calling before you answer
but we'll leave that decision up to you!

good phones.......2007-12-28
Good phones especially for the price. Sleek nice look.
Haven't had them long so lets see how long they last.
Great Product!.......2007-12-28
They're phones; just pick 'em up and say "hello", right? Well, not in our home, where we have had so many problems in the past with interference from routers, other wireless products, and (believe it or not) our microwave. But these phones seem to do the trick. Crystal clear conversations on both ends, and the extra handset is a great bonus!!
Great investment!.......2007-12-27
My wife and I love this phone. It gets great reception and is user friendly. It is the best cordless phone that we've had yet.
Works as it should.......2007-12-26
Bought this to replace an earlier Panasonic 2.4 ghz cordless phone that lasted me for years but was getting a little long in the tooth.
This phone works exactly as you'd hope, and expect, which is a good thing. Battery life is good and signal is clear, no wireless network interference and no antennas to mess with as with most 2.4 ghz models. And if you've used a Panasonic cordless before, the menu and controls will basically be familiar.
The one thing its missing, and the reason I can't give five stars is that the keypad on the handsets do not light up to help with use in the dark. An easy feature to provide and one that my original Panasonic cordless had. Not sure why Panasonic decided to go backwards in this regard.
Very pleased with this phone.......2007-12-24
This set replaces a 5+ year old Panasonic phone that was on it's last legs.
We are very happy with the phones - they look nice and stylish, have great features and conversations are clear (and we're using VOIP over a DSL line that isn't the fastest).
I'd recommend this in a heartbeat!

Panasonic Perfect.......2007-12-23
Was impressed with the many features incorporated in this nice small size cordless phone -- especially the speaker phone feature.
KCX-TG6031M - Great Phone.......2007-12-18
I've had good experience with Panasonic phones in the past. The Oct 2007 Consumer Reports issue rated this phone #3 behind a more costlier Uniden and an AT&T 5.8/2.4 GHZ model. It has great voice quality both hearing and talking, easy to use settings and display, and I especially like the adjustable ringer and volume controls.
The Panasonic KXT-TG6021M is big bang for the bucks! If you're looking for a excellent basic phone (no base speaker phone, no lighted keypad, no VM features) but has conferencing and speaker phone in the hand set, buy this model. Warranty is a year but for a under $40 phone, who cares.
Fine........2007-12-18
We got the phone because our old cheap phone had bad reception, given the wireless set up we had and our using Vonage. This phone has all the bells and whistles we need, and the reception is noticeably better. Nothing fancy, but fine.
Good value for money.......2007-12-17
I bought this phone to supplement an earlier model Panasonic 2.4GHz phone. Both phones are operating on separate phone lines, so it's easy to compare them.
Compared to the previous model, this one cost very much less. Unfortunately, it also feels less well built. It's bigger, has less rounded edges and is much warmer after picking it up from the charging cradle.
Other cons compared to the earlier model:
- the keypad is not lighted. this may not seem like a big deal, but if you have used the feature before, it's nice to have.
- the green LED at the top of the phone never turns off and is bright at night
- There are no speed dials. Which means, you cannot press-and-hold digits 1-9 to dial a preset number. This one was a disappointment.
- There is no way to turn off the handset. With the earlier Panasonic, you could press-and-hold the power button to turn off the handset. When going on vacation, I usually turn off the power strip to all the phone and charging gadgets. This means having to take out the battery on the receiver so that we didn't return home to a flat battery.
I live in a region that uses 230V instead of 110V. I had a spare 9V universal power supply that I used initially. However, there was a strong buzzing signal that was clearly audible both at my end and also the recipient. It was hard to track it down to the power supply. Turns out that the phone is senstive to a switching supply. When I changed to a transformer based adaptor, the sound signal was ok.
I would buy the phone again, simply for it's good value.
It has the usual clear Pansonic cordless sound quality.
great phone.......2007-12-13
Panasonic KX-TG6021M 5.8 GHz Expandable Digital Cordless PhoneI have bought a lot of phones, this one with the head set is perfect! Everyone claims it is clear and they can hear me.
All the other phones expensive or not do not compaire to this one! The head phones are a must!
The only draw back is there is no clip.I am still buying another one. The price too!!!

Customer Reviews:
Very good 2 line cordless 2 line phone.......2007-12-13
I did a lot of research on before purchasing this phone system, there where some less than favorable reviews on sound quality so I was a little worried. The sound quality is fine, no real issues, the phone has a "VE" Voice Enhancer feature, it can make the sound a little weird, they attempt to remove background noise from the caller, I don't use it although it doesn't really make a difference it just sounds unnatural. It's a lightweight phone easy to hold, it did not come with a belt clip, it has holes for the clip they juse don't include it, that would have been a nice addition.
I choose 5.8Ghz so there would be little interference with the wireless 2.4Ghz Internet at the house, it's not mandatory to do this but I just did not want any issues with the wireless Internet. I did not compare 2.4GHz phones with my wireless although our wireless Internet works great with these phones at the house.
We had Siemens phones prior to Panasonic, the only thing we missed was that when you picked up the Siemens phone from the charger it answered the phone (at first we thought this was annoying but grew to like it) the Panasonic does not answer when you pick it up from the charger, you have to hit talk.
The speaker phone on the handset is great, it's normally on max volume, it's loud enough. It has a mute button which is great for long winded conference calls, you can set the phone down anywhere and listen while you carry on with whatever you are doing and not have to worry about the dog barking.
The programing and use is not very complicated it's somewhat intuitive. We have 4 handsets the intercom works good.
The range is quite good we get about 200 feet to a barn, it breaks up a little bit but is quite usable at that range.
Panasonic 5.8 GHz Wireless Phone - 2 line.......2007-10-08
The phone has exceeded my expectations. I bought an extra handset in addition to the two that came with the unit. Distance from base - superb. Ability to add or delete frequently used numbers - very easy. Menu features - none missing that I can think of. Has volume control, three way, caller ID, speaker, light weight and easy to hold.
third phone.......2007-09-15
We have a two line household and needed a two-line phone to answer either of the lines. This is now the third handset for the system and it works very well. The screen size is a little small, and it's difficult at times to quickly decide whether line 1 or line 2 is ringing for the incoming call. That's the major downside. Other than that, its fine.
phone.......2007-08-23
phones worked great, delivery was great but they did not inform as to when to expect delivery. so package was left with neighbor
Panasonic cordless handset.......2007-08-05
Panasonic cordless phones are the best, in terms of range, reception and clarity. This is not as good as the KX-TG5583PK, but it is still the best 2-line cordless handset, you may find, in the market.

great phone, great price.......2007-12-24
good value here just needs a volume control for hard of hearing to reach perfection
Expandable phones don't have good reception.......2007-12-23
We had to return the phones because the expandable phones had terrible reception. They would crackle and breakup when walking. We had to remain stationary for them to work.
Excellent performance.......2007-12-18
Panasonic seems to make the most reliable, easy to use cordless phones packed with features. I bought this set to replace three lesser cordless phones I had in the house and this set does not disappoint. It has excellent range and voice clarity. The battery life is very good. The feature that slows a callers voice down so you can better understand them works well too. I found it wasn't necessary for most callers but is useful with some. We didn't use the answering machine as we have voicemail through our phone service. The voice annouce is more amusing than informative-it tries to announce the name of the caller and it does so very mechanically and at least three rings into the call.If you want a good voice announcer, buy and attach a talking caller id machine- I have one and it announces the number clearly and loudly on the first ring. My point is don't count on this particular feature. There is no external antenna to potentially break off either, the design is great. This set is a great buy that offers great performance as all Panasonic cordless phones usually do. Buy It!
the talking caller id is kind of scary.......2007-12-12
So far this phone has been reliable and the voice quality is good. The phone lasts charged for quite awhile even when it is not on the charger. My phone line can have a lot of static when it rains, but I have not had this problem since buying this phone and we have had several rain and snow storms. Good system for the money. My only complaint is the talking caller id voice can be a little scary and misprounces a lot of names, however once you get used to it it is great becaue you can very easily screen calls without even looking at your phone. It says our last name correctly, and most people mispronounce our last name I was impressed by that. Overall this system is a great buy.
Panasonic KX-TG6053S.......2007-12-06
I've owned previous Panasonic cordless phones and have been satisfied with their performance. In my opinion, this one does not live up to the Panasonic phones I have had in the past.
Pros:
Clear sound, nice feel and weight of phones, multiple handsets
Cons:
Talking caller id has hard time pronouncing easy words, no backlight, records all hang-ups as a message (very annoying), no indicator for number of new messages (only a blinking light), does not display name and number on caller id for very long
It is an ok phone, but I expect more from Panasonic then this. The most annoying feature is the recorded hang-ups. So every sales person that calls and hangs up gets recorded. "You have 16 new messages" and I have to sit through them all to find if there is a "real" message mixed in there or if they are just hang-ups. I called and emailed Panasonic support about this, but they were not able to assist and were very slow in responding.
UPDATE - 12/19/2007 - recently the main base unit started making clicking noises for about 30 seconds after each phone call. And as of yesterday, I cannot use any of the 3 phones for outgoing calls. When I attempt to dial a number the phone does not dial, just keeps a dial tone, but no dialing. Receives calls just fine. I am now in a position where I have to have the phones serviced as they are under warranty, but I'll be looking to replace them with something else in the near future. It is dissapointing that Panasonic has put out a product like this.

Good Phones.......2007-12-28
Bought these phones after not having any luck with another set of phones I bought on Amazon. The voice caller ID is somewhat comical because of the way ID's get pronounced, but it is still quite helpful as far as I'm concerned. I like the feature that allows you to enter your address book in one phone and send it to all the other phones. Many multi-set phones make you enter your address book in each phone. As of now I am still experimenting with some of the many features offered by the phone.
I absolutely love these phones!!! .......2007-12-21

Works perfectly........2007-10-24
I had moved into a three level house and needed more than the one receiver cordless phone I had. A friend of mine recommended getting a model from Panasonic. After looking at the features I choose the KX-TG6054B. After setting it up (a very simple process) it worked like a charm. It does make me laugh when a call comes in and the voice announces the number. Very useful, however, since I don't have to get up to find a "out of area" call that I'm not going to answer anyway.
The only minor fault is that I wish there was a way to transfer the numbers I put into memory on one receiver to the other receivers as well. (I understand why technically this would be very difficult.)
I can't believe all the five-star reviews.......2007-10-23
I've been a loyal Panasonic answering machine (AM) customer for years, and have always owned Panasonic AMs. Granted this is not a stand-alone AM dedicated and more features), I am dissapointed with this model for the following reasons:
1. Keypad is not backlit. What if you're in a situation in the dark with a nutcase in the house, how are you going to dial a call without turning on the light and giving away your location?
2. AM does not show number of calls received. This is a problem in more ways than one.
3. AM records dial tone when people don't leave msgs. That can chew up all your recording time if you're on a long trip, and make you miss an important call.
4. AM does not have room monitor. My older Panasonic AM does. It's a cool feature where you can call in and monitor the sounds in you home.
5. Security code is only two digits and a kid with time on his hands can call, and hack your system before your found out. For example other manufacturers provide 4-digit codes.
It doesn't take much cost to provide basic AM features when they can be designed and manufactured on a chip for pennies, and integrated into different models. Panasonic used to have AWESOME phone AM features but they have gone down the tube. Not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that these machines are now made in China, i.e. if they are using cheap Chinese designers whereas in the past, they were designed and made in Japan.
This one is going back to the store tomorrow.

Good Phone.......2007-10-27
We are using 5 of these cordless handsets all over the house, in conjunction with the base unit (KX-TGA4500B), with no interference problem. Another great feature about the handsets is that they don't have to be wired; just plugged in! Also, the recommended headset (KX-TCA86) works well with the both the base and handset) and is very inexpensive.

So far this system is working well for us. Wish there are more options such as more flexible extension numbers, etc.
Excellent follow on model.......2007-03-29
We used a previous version of this system for years. This much improved system handles even the tiny wishes we had from the old system. Music on hold, speaker phones, great range, etc. I actually bought multiple systems and tried them in my offices. I returned them all except the Panasonic.
panasonic cordless phone.......2007-03-10
Big disappointment. Unlike previous Panasonic phones that have always been 'slightly ahead of their time' this phone is difficult to use and there are too many steps involved to make or take a simple phone call. It's designed as badly as MS software. One of the annoying features is you have to hold the button down for almost 3 seconds to take a call on hold - it's a mess. Stay away.
Cell phone ease and portability for a land phone.......2007-01-18
Sound is great. Ease of use is wonderful. The guys in our shop have not complained once and we have had the phones for over a month!
