Nice Features.......2007-12-21
I bought this so that I could sit in my recliner and surf the internet on my big screen. As soon as I plugged the thing in the pc recognized it. I like the shoulder button on the right and the shoulder wheel on the left for the mouse. All the hot keys work, I especially like the forward and back keys for toggeling between websites. The thing seems fairly well built for light to medium abuse. I won't be handing it to my toddler that is for sure. Overall the people who designed this unit obviously took the time to study and ask people what they would like. It seems to be very intuitive in how it works and fits in your hands and sits on your lap, and where the buttons are located. There are cheaper units out there but I am happy I spent the few extra dollars for this one.

Just wanted to let people know that the keyboard I got has the eneter key in the normal position. Looks just like the picture, but with that adjustment. Works great so far on both a laptop and the PS3.

The only part of this product that works in the rf usb dongle which is recognized on my mac and pc but the keyboard itself will not sync. It is possible I am not correctly syncing it but there are no instructions with the keyboard. I tried to get support from the Adesso website but there is no mention of the WKB-3000UB and they have yet to respond to my emails requesting support. I wouldn't recommend this as I have yet to see it work once.

The advertised range seems about right for direct line of sight. I use this keyboard on the second floor and the computer is one floor below, about 10-15 feet away. It's not as good as the more expensive Gyration keyboard, but it works well as a remote control for my entertainment PC.

1st of all you don't know what your talking about!!
this motherboard is the best DDR3 memory motherboard out there with crazy overclocking ability..! if you did not make enough research on this mobo then you only have your self to blame. speaking of DDR3 memory , there are 2 versions on the X38 intel chipsets that ASUS tweaked. one is for the new DDR3 memory and the other for DDR2. If the price of DDR3 is too high in the meantime (which i completely agree with you on this) and you still wanted to take advantage of the X38 that enables crossfire configuration then you could have just got the ASUS Maximus formula or the P5E motherboard that uses DDR2 memory!
Needless to say that after the x38 chipset there won't be anymore DDR2 memory so you do the math.

The product description omitted a lot key details including most importantly the vendor's (ANTONLINE's) return policy. Despite not having opened the internal packaging with the exception of reviewing the product manual for compatibility issues/ concerns; I have spent the last four days in a run around with the vendor, and as far as I can tell there is no human being you can actually talk to.
Issues/ Concerns:
(1) The built int WIFI network could be a security risk. It is not clear what security functionality is included in this built in WIFI router.
(2) The only compatible memory is DDR3 which is very expensive.
(3) Apparently there have been BIOS update issues with the product (I have not tested this myself). Stability is very important to me, after reviewing the details in the product manual and other websites it appears the board includes a lot of features but may not be stable, clearly, a problem for a premium over clocking motherboard. One review board indicated that they had to down clock their memory to stabilize the system (this is a real deal breaker after spending 800 dollars on 4 GB of DDR3 memory.
(4) There appears to be some-type of integrated RF control device (similar to what you get with the mac-mini), again I am concerned about the implementation of this item and whether this functionality can be turned off.
With proper testing some of these concerns could be addressesed, but I am not willing to risk opening the packaging thereby making the return even more onerous than it already is.
I have had good experience with TigerDirect as a vendor, and Amazon itself, but be careful with some of these alternative vendors which sell through amazon online but have a very different return policy and whose customer service is completely substandard compared to amazon's normal policies.

It's winter. Haven't had a chance to actually try it out, but seems as though it will work well enough.
Too many items listed though, making it confusing to compare differences and the item received was not as it was presented, but rather, like another item listed.
Waste of money and effort.......2005-09-16
I really wanted to like this golf gadget. However, it is almost impossible to hold the rangefinder still enough to accurately see the distance readings. When I did make extensive effort to hold it motionless, the readings still were not accurate when compared to the distances noted on the course.

I am 50 and have trouble keeping it stable. The combination of large magnification, small weight and tiny dimensions make it hard to hold in a steady position that allows accurate readings.
GREAT FOR HUNTING.......2004-11-20
Very lightweight and compact. Also very fast to use. No battery's to go dead and no waiting for warmup. They have this advertised as a "laser" range finder but it is not. It uses the old tryed and true "line" method, such as is seen in very high quality rifle scopes. I have found it to be very accurate out to 200 yds. You place the base line at the hooves of the animal and read the line that is at the top of the animals body..that gives the range. Slight adjustments must be made for differant animals, deer are shorter than elk. But one trip to the rifle range will make this very easy to do. I have found it to be much quicker to use than a laser type and it is not affected by rain and snow. Also I don't have to remove my gloves to use it. No battery's to worry about, it weighs almost nothing and fits in any pocket. If you want a range finder that really works well and is easy and fast to use this is the ticket. I bought 3 more for xmas gifts for my hunting partners. Can't recommend it high enough.
