Do not buy this mobo if you plan on overclocking your system. There is an issue with this particular model that causes some of them to reset to factory settings if any sort of external USB storage is plugged in upon start up.
Easy Installation And Flawless Performance........2007-09-25
When you build your own computer you know that the motherboard is the backbone of any system. Knowing that, reliability and ease of use is of primary concern. The Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 has both of those features. This motherboard easily fit into my mid sized ATX case, each port and connection was clearly labeled and the layout is excellent and ergonomic. I set this up with 4GB of Kingston Ram, a 2.4 ghz core 2 duo processor and SATA drives. The motherboard works like a charm. I highly recommend it.

Great for first time builders and people who want a stable motherboard.......2006-09-27
Last August I stepped into the world of build your own system. Im totally brain dead when it comes to computer parts and putting things together. I have a habit of taking things apart and having no clue how to put it back together. Armed with a few books on BYO and help from a few forums, this changed.
The DS3 motherboard posted on all of my parts the first time and is very simple. Please be careful with the RAM. The manual specifically says DDR2-ram of 1.8v. If you go over the voltage it wont post. Corsair works beautifully with this motherboard. My system that I just built with the DS3 blows away my Alienware desktop and laptop.

The quality is very high for the cost. These are very portable/ well-made despite the weight. I will note that if you are going to use binoculars with this mm magnification, you should use a tripod attachment to stabilize them to avoid getting a headache. They are great for getting close-up views to perched birds or other animals.
