Keyboard changed - not for the better, for my uses........2007-07-03
I had a PS2 version of this keyboard and was very happy with it. Unfortunately when they made the USB version they removed an empty row between the row that has the "PRINT SCREEN" key and the row below it. When I tried to press the lower row without looking at it, I missed and ended up printing my screen instead. After doing that repeatedly for a few days I taped a piece of cardboard between the rows so that I couldn't reach the PRINT key accidentally.
The other problem, the one that caused me to give the keyboard away (I didn't feel like going to the trouble to send it back), was that the keyboard is also thicker than the PS2 one. I have my keyboard on a tray and I was no longer able to slide the tray in under the desk.

I've used this for about 2 years now and have no problems with it. I also have not experienced missing keystrokes (as one of the other reviewers has mentioned).
What I like about it:
1. no-frills keyboard -- no need to install any software.
2. ergonomic design is effective at reducing stress on my wrists -- in my experience.
3. keys all correctly placed and no missing F keys (like some microsoft keyboards).

Written: 2/2007... I was pretty disappointed in this keyboard. When I typed, some of the keys didn't "take," so I was missing keystrokes. It stressed my fingers to position them at the necessary angle, so I eventually pitched it. I prefer the older Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite, which is still available via Amazon. It travels well, and has a small footprint, neither of which can be said of Microsoft's newest ergo keyboard, the 4000. (Full disclosure: the Eite does not have USB ports.)
