Despite some of the negative reviews, I've had a positive experience with this mouse. I haven't had any trouble with it, and I love that it's rechargeable. I definitely recommend it.
Terrible company and terrible mouse!.......2007-10-04
I've owned this mouse for over 3 months. The feel of the mouse is actually not that bad, the problems are with charging and the quality of the components the mouse are made of, and absolutely atrocious customer support from Macally.
The first problem you will run into with this mouse is charging it. There is an on/off switch on the bottom(more on this later) and if the mouse has a really low charge or no charge, you have to switch it to the off position before putting it in the cradle, in order to get it to charge. If the mouse has a decent charge left, you can place it in the cradle with the switch in the On position, so long as the mouse has gone to sleep, and it will charge. The problem is sometimes it won't charge when the switch is in the On position, but you have no way of knowing until you try to use the mouse and the battery quickly dies.
The second problem I personally experienced is with the On/Off switch itself. These mice are made in China, and the terrible quality of the components used shows. The switch on mine failed after 2 weeks. After that I've had to nudge it just right to get it to maintain a connection in the On position, but that just failed this week.
Which brings us to customer support. There is none. If you email Macally and are able to get a response, they will just tell you that you are not using the mouse correctly. They will do anything and everything to avoid giving you an RMA number to repair the mouse, even when you know exactly what part is broken, such as in my case with the On/Off switch.
I am never buying another Macally product again, and I recommend that you don't either. Especially this mouse!
Garbage.......2007-09-17
Worst mouse I've ever bought, hands down. First one lasted all of 3 days. Then it stopped charging, wouldn't pair with the computer, the red LED on the bottom wouldn't even come on to signify it was moving over something. Sent it back and got a replacement. This one lasted a week and a half, then the same thing. It just stopped working all of a sudden. I tried swapping out batteries, leaving it to "fully charge", re-pair with the computer. It's completely dead. I did everything I was supposed to, followed the manual, left it on the charge station when I wasn't using it, etc etc.
I had another cheap Macally wired mouse a few years ago that was also a piece of junk. I figured since this one actually cost a bit of money the quality might be better. My mistake. I'll never buy a Macally product again.
Waste of time, waste of money.......2007-07-06
I bought this mouse, thinking that bluetooth wireless would be great. It has been nothing but a hassle for the following reasons: 1. You have to charge it every night and if the AAA ."batteries get too low, then you have to charge them on a manual charger because the cradle will not charge them. 2. The cradle on the mouse had a short in the connection where the adapter plugs in. 3. The mouse would fairly often lose connection and I would have to rediscover it.
The tech support is equally woeful. When I first called, the tech guy insisted that my problems were because I did not follow the instructions on the cradle to "place the BT mouse on the cradle after each use." The next time I called, another tech guy finally transferred me to another extension for a warranty claim. I left a message and never heard from them again.
I would have had more fun simply burning the $40.

Overall this is a good product, although it does have a delay once it is turned on. Can take up to 30 seconds for the mouse to sync with the bluetooth on our Mac.

The Kodak EasyShare C653 6.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom was so easy to use that my husband stopped carrying his much more expensive and complicated digital camera during a recent vacation. Took some video with sound as easily as a snap-shot. The view finder was essential for composing photos in extremely bright sunlight. Wish I had had this camera years ago.

Received this camera as a birthday gift from my daughter. The pictures are great as well as the video. Playback is easy (for a novice like me). I use the AUTO setting for everything! The only problem I have is that it takes 6-7 seconds for me to take the next picture. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome that?
A Trying Experience with Kodak web site.......2007-11-13
Since we purchased this camera as a gift for someone else, I can't say much about its actual performance or operation. As far as I can tell using it to make some test shots, it performed as promised, and the built-in menu made it easy enough to configure.
My problem came with trying to get the camera to communicate with an older OS--in this case, Windows ME. It is true that the fine print on the back of the box includes a line stating that WindowsXP or later is required. Of course, since we purchased it from Amazon, we did not see the box before we purchased it. Since nowhere on the Amazon page does it state this software requirement, perhaps they should bear some of the blame.
In any case, Kodak made it extremely difficult to download the necessary drivers that would let the camera communicate with Windows ME. They were there (if you are interested, you want version 5.2), but the menu selections, and even page titles were extremely confusing, even inaccurate. Eventually, however, after several hours, we did find and install version 5.2 of the software, and everything now works fine.
