Worked okay the first couple weeks, then the software that you install wont load on startup making you have to manually start it. Then the program just shuts down and doesn't come back on. And it always seemed that in middle of games the mouse would just stop working, but the red light was still on underneath. And unplugging, then plugging back in didn't resolve this problem, no you have to completely restart your computer and hope it starts working again. Then after a long battle in my computer game Crysis the mouse stopped working and i got a bullet in my head, at which point i realized this mouse isnt worthy of living anymore and i just chucked the thing at the wall and broke it to pieces. Wouldn't buy it again if it was selling for $0.99, its a waste of your money.

I can reaffirm the other reviews. The driver software on this mouse will shut down all of your computers usb ports. I installed this mouse for someone who got it for free, but have not been able to use the scroll wheels because I can't find drivers that will support the mouse correctly, without some other problems being created by the bad software.
I didn't think anyone could write drivers this terrible, if you think this mouse is a bargain, wait until you spend days trying to fix your computer after installing this.

I've used this mouse for over two years. This mouse is very comfortable, more than many more expensive mice that I've used. The size, shape, and smoothness of use is all great for a $12 mouse.
I only have one problem with this mouse: The drivers. I have had a horrible experience with the drivers. I mostly use MacOS X and it seems to me that A4 Tech (the manufacture of the mouse) has little or no knowledge and support of OS X. When I went to download the Mac drivers the drivers for "iMac" are out of date supporting only Mac OS X 10.3 and earlier. I tried using their drivers in 10.4 and 10.5 and they don't work. I also tried installing the drivers for XP SP2 and they didn't seem to do anything either. I ended up uninstalling the drivers. Without the drivers the mouse runs great. The only thing you can't do is use the second scroll wheel to scroll left and right. Instead the mouse scrolls in the opposite direction than the first scroll wheel. The side buttons can be configured within OSX and Windows for whatever you might want.
If you're looking to spend lightly on a mouse I'd highly recommend this mouse. it's definitely worth the price, just avoid the drivers.
Waste of Money.......2007-09-01
This mouse was a total waste of money; now I'll have to spend more to get a working mouse. I bought this mouse because of its low price and comfortable large size. This mouse has never worked normally. Software installation was problematic but finally accomplished. The mouse points for a short time after a reboot then STOPS RESPONDING EVERY TIME. Current driver is dated June 26, 2004, and there is no evidence of a driver update to correct this problem. After 2 months of use on my XP SP2 system, this was my last search for a better driver. The mouse is going in the trash.

I owed this mouse for 3 years, and I used it on both PC and Macbook. According to my experience, this mouse is more accurate, light, comfortable, reliable, and durable than any other mouses I used. At a price of $13, it is not cordless and is not small. But big mouses are comfortable, and corded mouses are more reliable, easy to setup, and offer a faster response time. Much better than any expensive Logitech/Microsoft mouses that I owed. You would not get the forward/backward buttons in other low-cost mouses. I didn't have any software problem that the other reviewers had in all three years. Recently I broke it, and I immediately bought a new one of the same model. I have a strong feeling that Logitech/Microsoft mouses are over-priced; therefore, I hope GE can continue to produce such low-cost, well-designed products. Good jobs indeed.

This accessory makes the SkyScout even easier and more fun to use. Mount the SkyLine Green Laser Pointer on the side of the SkyScout and your entire group will see exactly where your SkyScout is pointed. You won't have to crane your neck back as you sight through the SkyScout -- or even view through it at all! Just hold it in a comfortable position and point the SkyLine's green laser at the object you want to ID. Then hit the Target button and read the object's description from SkyScout's LCD panel. Easy! The custom-designed ABS bracket attaches easily to side of the SkyScout. It will NOT interfere with the SkyScout's GPS system or pointing accuracy. You can also remove the Skyline from the bracket for use as a standalone sky pointer. The bracket is recommended ONLY for use with the Orion SkyLine Green Laser Pointer, which has been thoroughly tested to ensure it will not interfere with SkyScout's GPS system or pointing accuracy.
