I'm not sure if I have this exact product, but I do have a wireless keyboard and mouse from Iconcepts that looks like this one, but its black. I love this thing. I hooked up my laptop to my new hi-def TV and can surf online from my couch. I have not experienced the problem of having to reset the receiver when I power off. Sometimes the mouse goes to sleep, but if you just right click, it wakes up. The special keys for internet, email, volume and sleep work great. I did have one problem initially and that was the placement of the receiver. I tried putting it right next to the PC and the RF signal must have been getting some sort of interference, the keyboard worked, but not the mouse. I moved the receiver about 2 feet away and it works perfectly now. I do have one problem in that the sleep button works well, but the wake up button will not take my laptop out of hibernation. I have to physically touch the keyboard on the laptop. Aside from that, I couldn't be happier with this. best $15 I've spent in a while. They had about 10 of these at Wally world and when I went back 2 days later, they were all gone.

I paid 20 dollars for a set of these at auction and I must say that I am thoroughly pleased. uses only one AA for the keyboard and 2 AAA for the mouse. my range is usually 10 feet, but works up to 25-30 on new batteries. batteries usually last 6-8 weeks. If I were to complain, the set does have a compatability issue with Linux. (keyboard doubles every keystroke) and yes, if you unplug the base, you must reprogram (a ten second fix) but if your powersupply/ motherboard works correctly, then it will continue to deliver power to the keyboard thereby keeping connection. solid keystrokes and smooth mouse movement make these a great buy for the money.

If you like portability then this is the keyboard and mouse for you. For the price, this is an excellent package; as long as you never turn off your computer. The range of the receiver to the keyboard and mouse is very good, as a matter of fact you can eek-out more than the manufacturer recommends. The bad part is the ID Connection. Everytime I shut down the computer and turn it back on the mouse no longer communicates with the receiver. When this happens I must reestablish communication by pushing a button on the receiver and then a button on the mouse. Sometimes I lose communication between the keyboard and the receiver after attempting to restart the mouse. The mouse is full-size, which is nice and the scroll works very well. But the communication problem rises to the top of my complaint list.

This product was not what I expected at all. It is cheaply made for the price. It is all pressed wood. There is no glass or plastic covering in the front. You can only store cds in their cases not loosely and it arrived with the face fallen off I had to glue it back on the display picture makes it look much nicer than it actually is. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
