The acrylic is painted gray, it comes in a very simple cardboard box that leaves marks to the cooler. The fans are a bit loud, the blue light of the USB cable is very strong. Raises the laptop to a good angle. YOU CANNOT GET A BETTER PRICE FOR THIS ITEM. Get NotePal from Coolermaster (Item model number: R9-NBC-ADAS) if you prefer a much more elegant cooler, the PC Toys cooler size fits iBook 12" perfectly. The Notepal the iBook 14".
Good, cheap, a little noisy.......2005-07-29
I purchased this for my notebook in order to get an elevated screen for more ergonomic viewing as well as cooling for the bottom as it can get somewhat hot when pushed. The product does what it says it does. It's not that pretty, but it does make the screen easier to see, and as far as I can tell it keeps my notebook cooler with its fans. It is a bit loud, but that is generally the case with notebook coolers and for the cost its the cheapest, best laptop cooling pad I've seen.

Incomplete Package.......2006-07-04
Product was missing two items (picture cradle and hand strap). A replacement was sent and the same two items were missing. Had to return both products because of the missing items.

I guarantee you will regret buying this camera if you do so. I have had the camera since it first came out (about a year ago). There are much fewer color options than other cameras produced at the same time and earlier than the F450. In fact, you basically have your choice of color or black & white. Although the pictures look normal once you upload them to your computer, on the LCD display they will look like a reddish haze. That's if you use the flash. Pictures are impossible to take without flash. They will be unusably blurry. Which means you will end up with red eye even when you're in a brightly lit place where you wouldn't normally need to use the flash. Less than a month after I bought it, the camera began "sticking". I turn it off and the zoom doesn't retract. So I have to turn it on and off again to be able to safely put it away.
This camera was a huge mistake - Fujifilm's for making and selling it, and mine for buying it.
