Good, quiet replacement for my stock ATI cooler........2007-10-03
After 3 years, the stock cooler fan on my Radeon 9800XT graphics card was sounding like a chattering squirrel; a replacement was sorely needed. Of course, neither ATI nor any other company sells simply a replacement fan to stick into the stock cooler, so I bought the iceberQ 6. So far it is very nice and quiet, and it pushes the heat OUT of the case as opposed to the stock cooler blowing air around INside the case. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any dramatic temperature drop, (in fact it seems to idle a degree or two hotter) BUT I no longer have to listen to the chattering squirrel... and that is certainly worth the price paid.

I bought the Vantec Iceberq 6 to replace the stock cooler on an XFX 7900 GS which was quite noisy. Although this particular video card isn't listed as being compatible with the Iceberq 6 and I'd read that it has problems fitting on certain XFX cards, I was able to follow the instructions and install it with little trouble. Not only is this a much quieter cooling solution, it also dropped my temperatures 8-10 degrees C. That enabled me to increase the overclock of the video card. The Iceberq 6 has the added advantage of blowing heat outside the case. Overall, this is a well-made product that does exactly what it's supposed to do. And unlike other video cooling solutions, it will fit on a wide array of video cards from ATI and nVidia.

Does not work on Archos 704.......2007-08-20
It was not so obvious for me since I bought it - but the AV700 headrest adapter does NOT work with the 704. It is well built and if you have an AV700 I am sure you will be happy with this product.
O.K for "normal" shaped headrests.......2006-11-10
I bought this for a recent vacation to the U.K where we rented a Cayenne for the 2 weeks we were there. The headrests on these SUV's are sculpted and the sling did not fit over it very well but they do on a majority of other headrests. Bottom line I guess is check your headrests first.
Other than that, it was well made and did the job fine.

Everything seems well-made in terms of the construction--sturdy enough. But there is a bit of oversight in the functionality of its design.
I wanted a headrest mount that would facilitate easy placement and removal of my Archos player in the car. Who wants to leave their $550+ player in their car? When you put the player in this mount and attach it to the headrest the top cover flap is sandwiched between the mount and the headrest...the only way to open the top is to remove the player to undo the straps that hold it to the headrest. This is a major operation that I don't want to perform everytime I leave my car. To work around this, I leave the top flap unclosed sticking up which is not ideal but is the lesser of two evils.
This is the only product out there for this so what is one to do?

Great Item - If it worked or Sony supported their products.......2006-05-05
This camera has nice features for its size, very compact and offers good resolution and options. The startup time for power up is very fast. Unfortunately the camera I received new in the box does not focus properly, so all of the pictures I take are blurry. I followed Sony's directions for repair, sent it in and a week and a half later received the camera back with the exact same problem thanks to Precision Camera Repair. I called Sony again for the same problem and had to fight with them to have them pay for shipping of the defective item. I may have to wait up to 10 days to receive a UPS shipping label from Sony. It's been a month since I originally purchased the item and await a shipping label to send it back for repair the 2nd time.
My mistake was purchasing a discontinued product from a company that does not have a supported return policy for defective products and dealing with a manufacturer that doesn't support their products directly, but through authorized service centers. Be certain to order any Sony products from a company that will accept a defective return, because you really don't want to deal with Sony unless you don't mind waiting several months to use the products you purchase.
