This mouse had a very unstable connection to the transmitter.
If I plugged the transmitter into the back of my tower which is directly on the left shelf of my desk, I had to put the mouse on top of the tower to get it to work.
I then tried plugging the transmitter into my USB hub actually direclty in front of my mouse pad, range was approx 2 ft and still completely lost connection sometimes.
I even bought new high quality batteries (Premium Duracells), no change, I went through the house and unplugged all the cordless phones and even unplugged my DSL box to be sure to eliminate any interference, STILL NO CHANGE.
Finally I lost connection entirely, called JR.com and got a return number, I will post later what kind of refund service I get from them.
UPDATE: After almost 2 weeks I got a partial refund of $39.99, I lost shipping both ways which amounts to $12.00.
I do NOT recommend Micro Innovations Mice or JR.com either one, 2 thumbs down for both of em.

We sent this table back due to the fact that the holes to put the table together did not line up properly. The manufacturer obviously has quality control problems - if all the pieces are drilled on a jig they should all align properly.
