I think this is the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. The design just makes sense. The most comfortable position in which to rest your hand is the "handshake" position. Why not use a mouse designed like that?

Unfortunately I'm stuck in a cube all day. I have been working on a project for a few months now, and after extended periods of mouse use my hard would get tight. And the tightness/soreness would last into the evening...even after I left work. And the last thing I wanted when I was home was something to remind me of work.
I bought this not expecting too much, but the design made sense. Well it has cured the trouble with my hand. After about a week of getting used to the controls, I'd say I was at least 95% as dexterous as with the original mouse.
It worked for me.

I have been having some minor wrist discomfort in my mousing wrist and so I did a lot of research into different solutions for ergonomic pointing devices. I have talked to people that used a trackball for gaming, and heard a similar story that the trackball takes a lot of getting used too at first, and folks would hae a sore thumb for about a month or so before they got used to it. I looked at a few different designs for an true "ergonomic" (neutral wrist position) mouse, and settled on this one both because of price, and similarity in button layout to regular mice.
It only took me about a day to get "used" to using this mouse. I have been using my VerticalMouse 3 regularly for the last 2 months and my hand and wrist just feel so much more natural now when using it. I use it for gaming both on my PC and my MacBook, and the extra couple configurable buttons (use USB Overdrive on the Mac) are a useful bonus feature for my gaming needs. (I'm a casual gamer, so I can't speak for the needs of hard core gamers--take my opinion for what it's worth).
I'd definitely recommend this mouse as a great ergonomic preventative measure, or for anyone experiencing wrist discomfort using their mouse.

Wow! What a difference. Everyone should have one! 'A very small adjustment period, to get out of old mouse-position habits ... but then ... the benefits of much less, and diminishing, pain (from thumb/wrist through forearm, elbow, and upper arm!). I sometimes spend 18 hours/day at the PC - editing - and this will improve my ability to meet tight deadlines on big projects without killing my valuable right wrist. Also, no doubt, it will extend the years I will be able to earn a living by editing (including using the sometimes-necessary hand-written, hard-copy, method).
This one tool will cut down on my healthcare costs (time and money), as well - especially since I'm self-employed and not getting any younger!
My first Evoluent Mouse had a glitch that I could work around but, after I e-mailed the company ONCE, they sent me a NEW ONE ... before I had to return the OLD ONE!!! Zowie! Somehow, they knew I wasn't willing to live without an Evoluent Mouse during the exchange period. ;o)

i believe it does the job of relieving the torque on the wrist as it claims. However, the size of the mouse is huge, compared to a normal mouse. Bottom line I think it helps with my carpal tunnel, which is why I purchased it for. So I would purchase again.

I have 3 of these cameras now and I have had good luck with most of them I did run into a problem with one of them but I sent it in and the customer service called me right away they got it fixed and sent it right back out to me. I also had another one get flooded MY FAULT but they took care of it for me. I really appreciated their great customer service. I would recommend this camera over all others I have tried.

I used this cam last season and was very pleased with the results. Battery life was very good. Security is top notch with an electronic passcode, a security bar that goes over the front cover so it cannot be opened and the ability to put a python lock through the frame to attach it to the tree. IR illumination is good. Have never had moisture or bugs get into the cam. Has many advanced features to fine tune the camera if you choose or you can just use basic factory settings. Video mode provides crisp pictures as well as camera mode. Night shots with the IR are a little fuzzy but this seems to be common with many IR cams. These can be fine tuned with common programs. I have yet to see a nervous deer due to the IR flash. You can see the IR bulbs illuminate at night. They have a red glow that is noticeable but not bright. If this is a concern, it can be mounted higher up in the tree and angled down so it is not in the line of sight. You can also buy extra IR attachments (up to 5) to illuminate wider or further areas. I don't think any other company offers that. Their customer service is one of the best in the business with great support and extremely fast turn around time if you ever had to send it in for repairs. I will be purchasing another this year.

I have been pleased withe the results from this product. It has worked as it claimed and has given both day and night pictures without any disturbance to the animals.
I have yet to catch the thief, but I am confident that I will and the camera will tell me the time and date that they were there.

When i started looking for a camera, my criteria included infrared so as to not spook game or (more importantly) be spotted by others who might happen by in the dark. I wanted good megapixel capability, and expandable memory. Finally I wanted a good locking system to keep it from being stolen. The Leaf River scouting camera had all that I was looking for. It is easy to program, has an in-field viewing monitor, adjustable range, simple interface with computer or tv, and its capable of taking very sharp pietures. It also comes with a video cd explaining the major features, as well as an easy to follow owner's manual. I have enjoyed using it and already have taken picutes of deer and elk. It is a wonderful scouting tool.

I purchased this camera for the purpose of doing long term photo surveys. To date the camera has performed flawlessly. While the price is at the upper spectrum of game cameras it more than justifies it by providing high quality digital photos coupled with an infrared versus traditional flash. For those having second thoughts about this camera put them aside. The Leaf River Digital IR is the best bar none.
