This Memory Works Great, I called Viking to double check and they confirmed that this is the mem chip I needed, ( I bought another brand of chip on eBay,it worked in my Brother-in-laws computer, but not in mine{the eBay chip is "NON-ECC" and I needed this ECC chip instead}Live and learn ). Call Viking with your model and brand of computer if you are not sure, they are very helpful!

I was having a difficult time finding upgrade memory to match my new PC. It required a proprietary module, but the PC manufacturer's web page had not yet been updated to include this new PC model's components. Multiple attempts to learn the identity of this DIMM from the PC manufacturer were unsuccessful, then I tried Amazon. Amazon was up to date with accurate information regarding this newly released PC's requirements (before the manufacturer!), and Viking's aftermarket component installed easily and works perfectly for half the price. For anyone whose tried to return electronic components, you know what a relief that is!
