The Stylus Verve batteries I received were brand new, in original packaging. I received two new batteries for far less than the cost of a single battery at retail, even with shipping and handling.
One battery is now in the camera and working perfectly.

I bought the battery from 47th Photo. The price? Amazingly cheap, only $1.95 each. It ended up the shipping cost is much higher than the battery price. So, I bought 10 batteries from 47th Photo to even out the shipping cost.
It took a whole week for the batteries to arrive my place, Vancouver WA from New York. It was a long wait, but the super low price makes everything worthy.

This is a decent set of shelfs and will hold a lot of DVDs, VHS tapes, etc., but you see in the instructions that it's recommended that you anchor it to the wall so it doesn't fall over. This isn't made clear in the ad or text on Amazon -- it recommends a screw into the wall and they supply a strap that you use. But if you can't put a screw into the wall or will have this somewhere where that's not a possibility, keep that in mind. You may be able to use it without anchoring it like that but it's worth knowing before you get one.
