perfect cord.......2007-10-10

Our camera cord was hooked up to our big screen TV when it was stolen. We called Canon to order a new cord and they told us they don't sell them but Amazon did and he walked me thru Amazon's web site where I could order the perfect cord I needed. It arrived quickly and hooked it up to the new TV and can once again view our photos taken with our Canon digital camera. Thank you Amazon for caring the cord that Canon doesn't carry!

I have 4 sets of these...they are extremely efficient and low noise...although, they should come in more than 8 colors (if you're going to use one color for each piece of gear)...anyway, they work great...I've had no problems with any Hosa products...

Fujifilm does it again with the follow-up to the popular S3 Pro UVIR camera. The IS-1 is a specially modified Neo-SLR digital camera with a built-in 10.7x zoom that helps reduce dust common in interchangeable lens SLR's. This camera is more suited to the point and shoot needs of forensic or scientific photographers, yet retains some of the basic features that made the S3 Pro UVIR so popular. The technology designed into the Fujifilm IS-1 was initially designed for traditional visible wavelength imagery. However, the natural low noise signature of the Fujifilm Super CCD produces high quality, high resolution images within a limited band of Visual to Infrared. Because of the wide range of light spectrums captured, focusing and exposure are often done manually. However if enough visible light is available auto focusing will work. Unfiltered color images will retain a pink hue due to the added presence of increased red and infrared light captured. A great deal of this cast can be eliminated by adding a hot mirror filter or UVIR cut filter to remove the presence of IR light. Perfect except hot spot.......2007-08-02

This camera works beautifully for infrared, whether combined with visible using a yellow or orange filter, or IR-only using filters as deep as 950nm. Autofocus works well even with a deep IR filter as long as your light source has enough IR, just don't try it under fluorescent lights, they don't put out IR.

The only negative is that the lens has an IR hot spot in the middle of its zoom range when you're shooting deeper IR. Takes some getting used to zooming past the hot spot one way or the other. Good thing it has 9MP to allow cropping after you zoom wide to avoid the hot spot.
