I was looking for the AC Adaptor that would operate the kodak M753
camera from an electrical outlet, but what I received from A1 books in
Fresno, CA was an AC adaptor that will only charge the battery. There is
connectability for an AC Adaptor on the camera for operation from an electrical outlet, but the actual adaptor that would allow for this operation is impossible to find. Why would Kodak build a camera with this capability and then not build the appropriate acaptor to allow for this operation? Too, I am considering returning the camera because of the crappy reviews. Looks like Kodak is going to lose a dedicated customer.

I received this adapter for the lost one I had for my camera. If you look closely at all the pictures, there is no plug for the adapter into the wall. I had an old plug, the "8" shaped end for older shavers, blow dryers, etc. Don't buy this product as a replacement unless you already have an "adapter" for this adapter.

Although I still think it was rather an expensive item, I got it cheaper here than at Kodak's site and now I can just recharge my Kodak EasyShare CX camera on its dock and save batteries.
The AC adapter was well packed and new. It doesn't fit tightly in the dock (sometimes if I am moving it it will come unplugged), but if I leave it alone it works fine.

First the package took 5 days to arrive I paid for 2nd day air!
Needless to say I left for vacation before the adapter arrived which did me no good. It was my understanding, the adapter would charge the battery, but that isn't so either. I would recomomd that you ask as many questions as you can and repeat them several times.

No official Vista support.......2007-11-26
I did a lot of research hoping to avoid any issues when purchasing a PCMCIA video card to drive a second monitor out of my ThinkPad X61 tablet. Unfortunately the information I got about its ability to play with Vista wasn't 100%. They have a beta driver if you can wait for it from a link via tech support but could never get it to work regardless of what I tried or they suggested. Settled for a Tritton external USB video adapter but the 1600x1200 shows a nice shade of fuzziness. Seems I can't get it just rigt.
Great for laptops that won't support widescreen high res..........2007-09-03
I searched all of the tips, tricks, driver installs, everything to get my new 24" 1920x1600 monitor to work with my 2005 Windows XP laptop. After finally emailing Intel, I learned my chipset does not support the widescreen resolutions, so that is why I bought the Vtbook. Perfect for my situation, and it meets the need. From the various reviews online, this would not be a good card for gaming, and with the slight delay in refresh rates, I could see why. They delay is not bad if you will be using the card for email, spreadsheets, internet, etc, you only really notice it when you drag windows around and there is a slight tail. Otherwise, this thing is great, and the DVI almost makes it worth it alone. I have never used a DVI connection, but there is a difference between the VGA and DVI connections. This card comes with the DVI as the standard port, and it makes the colors and clarity much better than the VGA.
So, in summary, if you want DVI on your laptop, or want to drive 3 monitors, or just want to be able to use new technology on your older laptop, like myself, I would highly recommend this product. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that is only slighty less in refresh rate than your typical card, but it makes up for it in DVI clarity. This is the only type of this card on the market for laptops too, as of Sept 2007. I paid $329 for this on one website. Enjoy!
Little card rocks........2007-05-15
Using it to drive a Dell 2407 at 1920x1080 for HD video evaluations. No problems. Nice to have a second _monster_ screen to add to the desktop. Only wish it had 32 bit color at that particular res, but I knew in advance it does not.

Innovative, compact, break-proof CD storage.......2007-01-29
Like many, I've found the transition from LPs to CDs didn't solve the space requirements of music storage. CD jewel boxes aren't as tall as LP's, but they're thicker. Stored spine-out on shelves, they absorb a surprising amount of wall space. Stored spine-up in drawers, they grow heavy in aggregate, and require rugged cabinets with industrial-strength roller suspension. Even worse, jewel boxes are a fragile container, and I've found myself replacing cracked and broken parts on a regular basis.
Some collectors have chosen to rip their CDs and store the physical artifacts in the basement, but this leaves the booklets and tray cards out of easy reach. Better would be a storage system that takes less space, weighs less, and is less fragile.
Enter the Jewel Sleeve.
The Jewel Sleeve is made of heavy duty vinyl with a compartment lined in non-woven fabric for CD protection. The CD booklet fits into the front-most compartment, the CD in the next, and the tray card (with the side tabs fully extended) in the rear. A small pouch at the top provides a space for an index card, laser-printer-ready sheets of which are provided. Fully loaded, a Jewel Sleeve is about 1/3 the thickness of a standard jewel box.
Once you've decanted your CDs into sleeves, you can either store them in one of the chests sold by Jewel Sleeve's vendor, or you can improvise. I've stored mine in cardboard bin boxes (such as the B36 model from Tharco), and stored the boxes on inexpensive shelving purchased at a home supply store.
The density of this storage system is vastly superior to lining your CDs up on shelves, but it comes at a logistical price: it's much simpler to visually scan CD spines on shelves than it is to flip through Jewel Sleeves in a box or drawer. You can solve much of this problem by indexing your CDS on your computer with the aid of a scanner and a program like Readerware.
Another price to moving to Jewel Sleeves is their cost. Jewel Sleeves aren't cheap. Okay, they're expensive. If you have a collection of 1000 CDs, you can expect to spend nearly $400 for sleeves, another $50 for bin boxes, and another $50 for shelving. Cheaper sleeves are available, including sleeves made from much thinner materials, sleeves without a non-woven pouch for the disc, and sleeves that don't store the tray card in a fully extended position.
A competitive sleeve (also available via Amazon), the DiscSox CD Pro offers similar features to the Jewel Sleeve, but with side (rather than top) slots for inserting and removing the disc, booklet and tray card. List prices for the DiscSox CD Pro appear to be slightly higher than for the Jewel Sleeve. DiscSox also make sleeves for DVDs.
Moving your CDs to sleeves can be an expensive proposition, but for those who've simply run out of space, and need to keep their CDs close at hand, this is a solution worth looking into.
