The Powershot A570 is a fun and flexible camera. I'm probably an intermediate digital shooter, and there's plenty on here for me to explore, but the camera is easy and intuitive enough for first-timers to take it out of the box, point, and shoot. The 1GB Pro Accessory Kit is worth every penny! I used nearly every device in the kit in the first week (except the cleaning kit because I take very good care not to get my electronics dirty). The best part is the SD card reader that plugs into a USB port. On my Mac, it simply opens iPhoto and allows me to import the photos with the touch of a button. It also allows me to erase the SD card, and it will work with ANY SD card from ANY camera. No more multiple programs from Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Kodak, and what have you. This is really worth the investment for beginner and intermediate digital shooters.
