I use my case to carry both a cd player and a minidisk player. The compartments are perfect for both, and there's plenty of room for all your cd's, minidisks, headphones, cellphone, whatever.
The workmanship is excellent, what you would expect from caselogic. All seams are finished with no unfinished ends exposed. The faux leather looks and feels good, too.
My only question is the carry strap. I would like to be able to remove the ministrap if I want to. But that is merely a question of vanity more than anything.
If you buy one of these, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it before!
Excellent, not just for CD players.......2000-11-13
I bought this to hold accessories for my laptop, including an Addonics PocketZip 2000 drive, PCMCIA cards, as well as CDs and it works beautifully. It's very soft and durable. The removable velcro divider for the back pocket makes it versatile. The strap would be great but I wish that there was a way to unattach it. There is a snap for it on one side, but it is still sewn on, so I don't really see the point of the snap. Regardless, this case is very handy.

This faux leather case has two compartments (one zippered, one with a velcro flap) either of which can hold a CD player (and the other a good size for foldup headphones); one designed for a cell phone etc. but I use it to hold my Sharp MS722 Minidisc player; and a large rear zippered compartment that does not have CD sleeves, but does have a movable divider. I use it to hold my 24 disc CD wallet (Caselogic KSW-24) and a dozen minidiscs in plastic slipcovers. Add to that the front slip pocket for spare batteries and you're talking a couple days worth of music.
In addition, there's a detachable shoulder strap (take if off and you still have a carrying handle) and loops in the back so you could attach to a belt (or like I do when laden down, to my fanny pack belt). A short zipper (inch or so) on the bottom allows you to run your headphone cord neatly into the case while leaving the top securely closed- no accidents.
Take a look at the dimensions of this- it's the size of a thick hardbound book but pretty easy to carry around, maybe on your next flight or bus trip or standing in line for concert tickets or... The fake leather material is pretty durable and well padded.
