It's much too early to assess this power supply. Who knows how long it will last and it's overall quality? I bought it based on it's price and features relative to others in the same general price range. The manufacturer or distributor, Athenatech, makes good quality cases, so I'm guessing that they have a high standard for their product.

There is absolutely no documentation. I mean, who needs docs on a power supply?

ME!!! That's who!

There is one little thing that was not known to me and is poorly documented on the web. I have a 20 pin input on my motherboard. The 20+4 pin mainboard connector included with this power supply can be used for either a 20 or 24 pin input - depending on how your motherboard is configured. But there is a catch.. Listen up..

I did not know - and I suspect others don't know - that when we detach the 4 pin from the 24 pin connector to use on our respective 20 pin and 4 pin inputs on the motherboard, we will be defeating ourselves, and our computer will not boot.

Take note if you use a motherboard with a 20 pin input: When you detach that 4 pin from the 24 pin connector, wrap it up and DON'T USE IT. Plug in your 20 pin input into the 20 pin receptor. Find the two 12V 4pins that are ATTACHED together, looking for all the world as if they are some kind of an 8 pin connector, separate those, and use one of them to plug into your ATX12V1 4 pin receptor. That works! The 4 pin attached to your 20 pin will not work in the ATX12V1!

If not for my Award bios giving me codes telling me something was amiss with the 4 pin, I might never have realized it. This PSU is so far very quiet and capable. I've got lots of stuff onboard.. It's shiny, get's lots of fingerprints on it while you're handling it and has a nice blue light for those who like shiny, blue things.

I suspect Athenatech is going to get some perfectly good power supplies returned because of the problem I encountered. I almost returned it..

I'm very satisfied with my purchase.. but they should have just put a few pages of docs within so I didn't have to struggle with it. After all, how much does a few pieces of paper cost to include?
