I have been using this keyboard for a few weeks now and I love it. It has a very crisp key feel and the luminescent keys are very nice in low light situations. I would definately recommend it.
Awsome Keyboard.......2007-01-03
In search for my perfect keyboard I just picked up the 6300CL at frys ... and it's awesome. I work on laptops all day so the keys feel great, much like my thinkpad. I love the form factor. I was reading about the IBM space saver II and think if they cut off the number pad, for me it would be optimal!
I have 6 other keyboards laying around and none of them feel as good as this one. Mainly on the others if you don't hit the key in the center the resistence is harder. On the 6300 the stroke and feel is the same if you push the far corner of the key as it is in the middle.
My only minor con is a slight noise when the back light is on ... but you can turn it off ... but it's cool with it on since I work in low light at night alot.
Well Designed Simplicity.......2006-10-24
I had been using a late model Logitech Wirelss (USB) Keyboard for a couple of years and found that although it had gobs of functionality options, connectivity issues would crop up often enough to become a real pain. The software was also bugy and seemed to work at its own leisure. I found a non-backlit verwsion of this keyboard at Fry's like another reviewer mentioned and picked it up for about $16. I love it! Small desktop footprint, laptop like key depth and sensitivity, media buttons have a simple layout and aren't too "busy" like some other keyboards. Oh if only there were a wirelss version of this. Pick one up and ditch the current bells and whistles laden monster you're currently using!

Love it. Beautiful styling, high visibility keys, perfectly smooth key action and you can even toggle the backlight on and off! I should also add here that I am using this keyboard with a PS2 adapter unevently. Works great.
I couldn't be happier with this keyboard. Bought it at Fry's for $59 and it was a great investment.

This is a great keyboard.......2005-08-26
This is a fantastic keyboard. They also some that are not backlit, and smaller. You can get them at Fry's in the US. Fry's also sells a non-backlit of this model with custom computer systems. Same style keys, like a laptop. If you are having trouble typing on it, that's probably b/c you are not used to a laptop style keyboard. Thats what this is like, just bigger... Once you are used to it, you can type much quicker b/c there is less travel in each key...

ups delivered the box (which is pretty large) with a corner smashed, which included breaking one of the main side panels. i sent the manufacturer (AVthing in its place.com) an email. they replied within 15 min. telling me to throw away the broken piece and shipping me a new piece. it was a bit complicated to put together (took about an hour), but the instructions were very good. several people have commented on how nice it looks and that they need something just like it.
