Bought this bag for my SONY DSLR ALPHA 100, the cover isn't padded at all, and the bag isn't as big as I thought it was...
It will work for a while with my camera, 18-70, and 75-300 lens, but anything more I'll need something bigger.
No protection on cover.......2006-11-09
The cover opening does not provide any protection. It does not have cushion to protect the camera which is on top. If you have digital SLR which you want to protect the LCD, this bag is not good.

I am very satisfied with this camera. It is a great size and easy to operate. I tried to purchase it on line, only to find dishonest dealers who wanted to charge me for the battery or charger. Those items are included from the manufacturer. When I saw the same camera on Amazon at a competitive price I ordered it.
