This is one fine camera package! I read many reviews of the Canon XT and XTi before making my purchase and fully agree that the XTi is well worth the extra bucks! I highly recommend this package also because of the Speedlight 430EX external flash. It's a dandy! Contrary to other reviews, I don't have a problem with the 18-55 mm lens being flimsy. It IS light but seems to be well built and takes great pictures. The only things I bought in addition to this package were two haze filters to protect the lenses and the Magic Lantern DVD Guide for the Canon EOS Rebel XTi. I highly recommend this DVD. It explains the camera in simple to understand terms so you get a good jump on learning how to use it properly and quickly.
