Works well in workhorse computer.......2007-12-28

When I recieved this card, I was concerned about the minimum power requirement(350 watts)for my Dell 531 Inspiron, which has a 300 watt power supply. I contacted XFX and was told this would probably not be a problem. Have been using it with Company of Heroes, which selected the settings for me (medium level @ normal resolution), which looks fine to me, and no problems so far.

This card is probably one of the best for nongaming computers, and moderate system requirements for graphics. I replaced a Radeon HD pro 2400, and received significant improvement, as well as less problems with one of my other games. It also performed excellently with Reason 4(music software), with maximum settings for performance - there was no lag in the graphic interface.

In sum, this is a good card, with a good price,for nongaming computers.

Great and Fast.......2007-12-24

I belive, that this card its all about of what you needit for. My needs, well, it was for playing good old Rogue spear, Unreal tournament 2004, doom 3, ghost recon and medal of honor series.
What i got ? an easy to install video card that exceeded my expectations. All this games are pleyed very smoothly and at great frame rates at high seetings, even unreal an doom are just great at least 40 to 80 FPS at high settings. My system is an intel based one with an E2140 dual core, 2 gb corsair xsm2 ddr2 ram, and sata devices on a evga 650i ultra mainboard. I was just curious and ran an old version of 3d mark 2001, my score: 19232 3d marks wich is a good score for this old games. IF YOU ARE A MODERATE PLAYER SEARCH NO MORE, THIS WONT DRAIN YOUR POWER SUPPLY EITHER.

Best Value for a Great Video Card.......2007-12-18

I needed a better video card for Call of Duty 4 and this was the best value out there. Easy to install this card has worked perfectly ever since! No problems - all settings are easy to adjust.

I didn't want to spend too much but wanted to get all I could for my buck - this was it. You will be happy with this card!

sli video.......2007-11-29

I purchased this new card and an open box card (another site) to run SLI configuration. After getting updated drivers the combo runs great. Unrealtournament3 is outstanding with this combo.

Excellent Card for the money.......2007-11-25

I upgraded my system by replacing the video card built into the motherboard (Intel) with this one. It's amazing how much better even the desktop looks via the DVI port to my flat panel. The game graphics are supurb for the money.

Great product. Good specs for the price.......2007-11-20

At the time that I bought it, it was the best I could get for $400. It will clearly last me a few years. It has all of the important add-ons and some frills. I haven't had luck with infrared, but Bluetooth works like a dream and the fingerprint scanner and memory encryption makes it safe and secure. I store all sorts of information for my job on it, and its synching with Outlook keeps me from losing my mind.

My only complaints are that HP isn't quick enough to make the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade available. They were prompt with the Daylight Savings Time change update, though. The device doesn't come with a Java Virtual Machine, which makes much of the free software out there unusable. I should've held out for a Windows Mobile phone.

Otherwise, this is a great tool.
