It isn't the greatest product on the planet, but It gets the job done. I hooked it up and it has been working perfectly ever since. No complaints.

Poor quality.......2007-09-15

Upon my first use with this product, both of the inserts of the main buttons cracked and fell into the unit. There they remained, rattling inside until I sent this back for a return. In addition to this, the sound card also had periodic bouts of "speeding up" the music and caused a major conflict with iTunes. Don't waste your money.

Bought it for an HP Omnibook 6100 laptop (the motherboard audio circuits are easily burnt out) (USB 1.1) running Windows 2000. Works great as a replacement audio controller, haven't used if for audio input. Don't think I needed to install any drivers.

Installed this USB soundcard on Dell Inspiron 700M laptop because Dell hardware problem. This unit installed easily and works perfectly. Recommend getting the latest driver from web site 1st before installation.

I bought this sound card because the one on my laptop went out and instead of getting a new motherboard I bought this. It works great, has good sound and you can turn the volume up and down on the device. The only thing I do wish it had was a usb plug right on the device so you didn't have to have a cord, but that does have its advantages too. There is no fuzzy noise in the background until you turn off your computer. I am very happy with this I think it is worth the few extra bucks.
