I had to change a power supply for the 2nd time on a $10,000 32 channel input DVR, After reading the rating on this supply I bought it, Not because higher priced means better, not so all the time. However, this time it was the best, I could find. It fitted as if it was made for it, It was very quit and the fans did a great Job of cooling. In the future any supplies in any of my computers , this will be the supply I use.

Awesome power supply.......2007-11-13

This is one well built power supply. Solid construction, nice cable hookups, flashy markings with power and quietness to boot. The only thing that is missing is that the cables are not sleeved as in other power supplies, but no biggie.
And with Amazon's low price and super fast shipping, I had this product in my hands the next day plus with a $20 mail-in rebate equals one sweet deal.

Weird problem........2007-11-09

I was robbed. I bought a $160.00 PSU Corsair CMPSU-620HX 620W for my new computer in SLI mode. My sorprise was that I found inside the box a cheap ULTRA 500-Watt $39.00 PSU. The box was right, it came with plastic, etc. but the content doesnt. What happend?

I pay $160.00 for this:

Few days later...
Replacement came next week. I already installed it, and I just can say: Excelent PSU!!! I still have the question: Why an ULTRA PSU came inside of an original box of CORSAIR 620HX? Who knows.

Not Bad for a First Timer...........2007-08-01

This is the first power supply Corsair has released. If this is the best they have, I'm sold on their PSUs. Stable, quiet, and cool are what you will buy with this. The PSU also has a very high efficiency rating and is modular. One word of note with the installation, install the power cords into the device BEFORE you screw it in. It will save you alot of time and hassle.

This is a really good unit. Good Power, and good cooling. I think it offers alot of value for the money and handles quite a load. I bought it for my brother and he's got at least 5 fans, 3 hard drives, an 8800GTS, and likely 17 neon lights cause his system looks like a Xmas tree!

I think Con Ed was over to borrow some power from him the other day...

Would buy again.

Design

A jog dial is located on the right side of the unit for quick scrolling through menus and emails. There's also a standard 2.5mm headset jack that can be used with the included headset.
