Weak and totally lame... .......2007-07-28

These batteries are not that strong. I ordered two of them and quickly discovered that they last only 25% as long as the original battery that came with the camera. These "knock offs" are prone to die just when you're at an important event or in emergency situations... when the shot really counts. Several times I took these batteries out of the charger after being there for 6 hours and they went dead after 20 minutes of use. The original battery can go up to 8 hours of use, if you're turning the camera on and off. (like you would normally use a camera)

Strengths: Quiet, cheap, reasonable image quality.
Weaknesses: TV out doesn't work on my copy.
Summary: I bought this card a couple of months ago. It looks really nice, is reasonably quiet, image quality on my 1600x1200x75Hz CRT monitor is reasonably good. However, TV-out never worked despite multiple driver reinstalls. Also be very careful about rebate offers, HIS does not like parting with their money and will even resort to lying about reasons (e.g. they claimed that UPC code I sent was invalid, even though I did cut out the only symbol on the box).
