GDC HDV Case.... The CC- 193 is TST padded cases designed to hold a digital SLR with a Tele-lens (compare model's internal dimensions to your kit with required configuration like body + lens + hood). Additional lenses, flash, light meter or other accessories will fit in the remaining space, the additional long compartment or the full length external pocket. Internal dividers are included and if needed a Modi-Vers Kit is available. A DV configuration is possible too . The 193 lid is secured by a wide hook & loop fastener and a side release buckle. One pull allows for a quick full opening of the parallel zipper set. BSS Shoulder Strap is included as well as a padded Mesh-Grip handle.

I use this for the Panasonic DVX-100, and it's great to carry it and even put some of your stuff inside too, like mics, tapes and other devices.
It's made of very good quality materials, and very good to protect your equipment.
After get it, now I just get Kata stuff.

I would recomend this bag because it is the bigger of the kata bags. I was able to put my camera, external hardrive, and my mac book into this bag. It protects the gear very well and the shoulder strap it comes with makes it easy to carry through an airport.

A Case Is A Case To Me.......2007-01-06
I'm not very picky when it comes to certain items. This camera case does a sufficient job of carrying my camcorder (Panasonic AG-HVX200P) as well as a few other things. I have space for a few batteries, the AC power supply, audio/visual cables, tapes, and other necessities. It is soft and padded on the inside and protectively firm on the outer front and back sides. It should be understood that this case is good for carrying a camera. Microphones, extra cables, cords, and large amounts of tapes (more than 10) may not fit neatly without putting some effort into how you pack the case.
This case works very well for a camera of this size (L 16" x W 5" x H 8").

Misleading and Hard to Use.......2007-12-20
Misleading: This product WILL NOT play mp3 files while it displays pictures! Coby tech support says they have only four models that actually can do that. If you want something that plays mp3 files OR displays photos, this is the one for you.
Hard to Use: The remote control has very tiny buttons that only seem to work about half the time. Even using the buttons on the back of the unit does not guarantee that a command will go through on the first button push. Also, there are buttons that are only located on the remote, so DO NOT lose your remote. Hardware issues aside, the software is not user friendly at all, and the users guide is vague at best.
Overall: A very disappointing buy.
