It works as advertised, but loading mp3's onto it can take a very long time for some reason. I was using a SD card in it. I suppose perhaps my usb port is a slow one.

You can easily use your memory as a Pendrive with this product, just insert your memory when you are not using and copy your files in a folder to transport to other place. Connect and go!!!
The only contra that I can see is that you will need the extension (provided by product), if you have an USB connector with others cords connected beside.

I bought this about 3 years back when i had a Sony camera & I used 512 MB Memory stick Pro & Pro Duo cards. Later, I got a Canon SD 700 & now I'm using a 4 GB SD Card. I also have a Motorola Phone with a Micro SD Card. This has always been handy, saved my camera battery, and allowed me to copy files to my devices.
Pros:
1. Accepts all Memory Stick (Regular, Pro, Duo etc)
2. Accepts all SD Cards (Micro, Mini, 4 GB etc)
3. Has not broken with Rough Use of 3 years, although it feels a bit flimsy
4. Fast USB 2.0 Transfers
5. No Drivers required
5. Looks just like a thumb drive & can impress your friends when you show them that this is a memory reader.
Cons:
1. Cap comes off easily. I lost this in a week, but this does not affect the performance or durability in any way
2. This blocks the adjacent USB port, but this can be overcome by using the USB extension cable that is included with this product. Or use a USB hub if you want more than 3 or 4 USB devices connected to your PC at all times...

Pros: Incredible flexibility -- a must-have for digital photographers and tech-types with a variety of portable memory. That is worth 5 stars alone.
Cons: A device this small and portable needs security during transportation and this device loses points for its total lack in this area. I created a dummy cord for the cap and a connector for a key ring/lanyard. Any company that understands tekkies on the go should have attended to that detail.
Overall: Well worth the money -- if you're willing to take a minute to secure the parts for portability.
