This is my third LCD monitor, I have, HP 23" and HP 20" monitors. I needed a monitor with multiple standard video inputs for the development of a Video Capture card. I like the quality of this monitor better than my HP monitors. The only reason I think Westinghouse is selling this for so cheap is because of the location of the buttons, they are located on the back side which make it extremely inconvenient to (blindly) use the controls. If this monitor has controls on the front it would have been one of the best monitor (for the given resolution).

The monitor arrived 5 days sooner than expected not to complain and has saved my much need desk top space and works great no problem what so ever. No down side to my purchase. Don't let the low price fool you into thinking its an low budget product. It is what it is a great deal.
Great value, amazing display.......2007-04-03
When I decided to finally make the jump from a CRT to LCD, I also decided that I wanted to go with a widescreen. I did the usual research, comparisons and such, and would have gone with either the Acer or Samsung 22" screens.
Then when I was looking through PC Magazine, I came upon this model, and as I read through their review for it, I was definitely taken by the value and the features that came with it. After a couple months of waiting for tax time and looking at other reviews for it, I went for it, and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
The main reason I bought it was for the multiple inputs, including S-Video, Component, and RCA Video, and the fact that it can be used for an HD display if you have the right equipment. Using the HD box from my cable company, the image quality is crisp and clean on any HD channels, while the screen shines displaying regular NTSC content.
I use the analog output for my PC, and everything looks great with it. Video is nicely detailed, high-quality pictures show off a nice color range, and the blurring effect is low with any moving object, the referesh rate is so much easier on my eyes than when using a CRT.
I have only one gripe, and that's the speakers; they're OK, but they don't blow me away (but when has any monitor-integrated speaker have?). But since I only use them when I'm not using my TV card and I didn't buy the monitor for the speakers in the first place (I output TV and video sound through a regular computer/subwoofer combo), I'll easily let that slide. This screen easily surpasses the other models I looked at, and the pricing I got it at ($400, but you will find it cheaper as time goes on) can't be beat. A great value that proves the name doesn't mean as much as how much is put into the actual product.
UPDATE: June 4th
I will have to revise this review slightly, as I ended up three months later with my model ending up having to be returned. The menu buttons disabled after what I think was from a resolution change coming out of sleep mode, and they would not go back to normal even after a call to Westinghouse customer support. I was within warranty thankfully and exachaged for a new one, and Westinghouse was completely cooperative about it, although a certain store with a yellow tag logo almost refused to take it back. The new model is set up and works just as wonderfully as the first one I bought, although I did notice that it does better on non-native screen resolutions than the first (this computer is mutil-family so it's set up for different screen sizes on each logon). I do not rescind my review, but I do advise you to keep the reciept just in case this happens to you, and to probably just turn off the monitor if it's not being used or depend on the screensaver.
Appalling Customer Service.......2007-02-14
Never buy a product from Westinghouse Digital. I purchased a laptop from them and it arrived with major hardware problems. Upon discovering the problem with my computer, I attempted to obtain an RMA number and my call was NEVER returned. Without this number you cannot get anything serviced. After I called 3 times over the period of two weeks, someone finally told me the number and the address. They received my package on January 9, and I have not heard a single thing since then (February 13). Furthermore, everytime I have called to inquire, I have been on hold for an unacceptably long period, and when my call was finally answered, the response was that they knew nothing and would get back to me, which never happened. I have been without my computer for a month and a half now, with no end in sight. It is a gamble to purchase any product from this company, since any factory defect may lead you to lose complete track of your property and spend countless hours on hold and listening to excuses.
Great Monitor.......2007-02-11
I got this monitor for Christmas so I've had to test it out before writing this review. My wife was fortunate enough to get this on sale after Thanksgiving for $200.00. What a deal!! I have both my PC and XBox hooked up to this monitor. The resolution and color are great!! I am very pleased. I've played several PC games including Half-Life 2 and Company of Heroes. Both look great in widescreen mode. I'll be getting one for my office at work.
