I was not happy with the product arriving after Christmas since it was a gift for my son and I also paid for faster delivery which I didn't recieve a refund for, I was also promised a 20% discount on the item which I have yet to recieve. I'm happy with the item but certainly not the service.

I needed a card to process (decode in this case) an mpeg2 stream from my tv tuner, which does mpeg2 encoding. At 25 bucks, I had nothing to loose - bought it, installed it... And it just worked. I can do 480x480 -> 1024x768 (4:3 OTF conversion / scale) with only 25% cpu usage on an AMD 1400 Mobile @ 800Mhz. I've also tried 1920x1080p HD, but you need seriously more power for that kind of work.
To this day it runs great. I don't game with it - I feel sorry for anybody who bought a card geared towards the 'office user' thinking they could play high end games with it.

I am actually quite apalled with this product. After buying it a year ago because it was pretty cheap, No more than 4 DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE, I purchased a Silent Hill game, and the graphics card was NOT compatible. I thought to myself, "fine..maybe it's just this one game", But the more games I would purchase, the more those games wouldn't work...
I've also found out that the geforce mx 4 SERIES is basically *similiar* to geforce 2! Geforce 3 is actually higher and way more compatible with 3d games--which makes NO sense!!! You'd think geforce 4 (since it's supposed to be an upgrade from geforce 3) would be better..Not in this case.
I'm being honest here, some games work.. But if you're looking for the newer, exciting 3D games..(For instance, Silent Hill games, Godfather, etc..) this card isn't for you.
If you want to have some great smooth gameplay & gorgeous graphics--save up and buy a graphics card that is WORTH it. Because in my opinion, this one certainly isn't.

Don't listen to anyone else! This card is the best! I am an average gamer and always used integrated video. After getting this, my games are so much better. This card runs well with even complex games like flight simulator 2004. It runs the game smoothly. Also, you can connect your PC to your TV using the S-Video output. It took me less than 10 minutes to set up and play. All you do is plug it in and install the drivers. The only thing they could improve on is to add two VGA slots for their advertised "nView" dual moniter function. Otherwise, its a great investment for any computer. Best of all, it's the cheapest video card around for only 25.99!

this card simply sucks... do not buy it. yea yea installation was okay but graphics sucked so bad. i tried to run 2002 jurassic park operation genesis and well.. it did worse than my previous S3 Unichrome 32MB card. and two weeks ago the card stopped functioning for no reason.
a week ago i ordered MSI Radeon 9250 and omg this is the cheapest and the best card ever.
nfs2 along with others run smoooothly.. only game i didnt get to work was Driv3r but that game requires much more.
overall go and buy yourself Radeon. do yourself a favor and avoid this card at all costs.
i bought MSI Radeon 9250 with 128-MB DDRAM for just 35$ and encourage you to do the same.

The Velocity 8x Pro Sling Pack is slightly smaller than the Velocity 9x, but still accommodates a pro digital or film SLR with a grip (such as Canon's EOS 1D series or Nikon's D2 series) and an 8-inch zoom lens attached. I originally bought the Velcity 7 for my Nikon D50 with kit lens, 210 telephoto, and Panasonic SD1 video camera. It was a VERY tight squeeze to get it all in there, so I returned it and bought the Velocity 8 (which fits everything nicely). I like the way the Velocity series is worn messenger style. It allows for secure carrying, but quick access by swinging it around to the front. I haven't done any trips yet, so the review is not totally complete.
As others have mentioned, the camera is "suspended" on the dividers unless a long lens is attached. However, it does not feel like anything will fall out. If you have a lot of accessories, I would recommend a full backpack-style bag.
Tamrac Over the Shoulder Bag.......2007-10-30
This is my third camera bag. I finally have one that works for me. I carry a digital camera with a 18 to 200 mm lens, a macro lens, a flash, and all my filters and auxiliary stuff in it. It is of reasonable size and does the job.

I have the Velocity 7 but it would not hold my 80-400 lens attached. The strap on this bag has little padding and the weight with a camera and lens in the bag starts to weigh on your shoulder.
I ordered the Velocity 8x with high hopes the new design would be better. It is not. The strap has more padding and my 80-400 and another lens fits in the bag but the weight still is a problem for one "sling" strap. Furthermore the product photos are deceptive they show the bag sitting high in the users back and low when it swings around. This is false advertising, if you adjust the bag so fit your back it swings around so high on your chest you struggle to get to your equipment. The adjustment strap annoyingly bunches up as you move from the back to front position. You would be better served to remove the bag defeating the whole purpose. Plus its dificult to get off and on.
I agree with the following reviews about the Velocity 8, they still hold true to the 8X.

You need to be a bit of a contortionist to get your head and arm through the strap. If there was at least a quick-release buckle on the strap it would help. The bag's flat profile is nice, but wasted. Plus, the round bottom makes it impossible to set the bag down to open it up. It ends up lying on its back, or sort of, since the big fat sling strap sticking out the back won't actually let you lay it down flat. The advertising sounded great! Now, if they would just design the bag that they advertised...
Oh, and did I mention that this bag didn't live up to my expectations?"
I agree with Road Runners assessment as well: "...when I got a bigger lens and camera body (which did not fit in the 7) I naturally picked up the 8 (even though some "reviews" on Amazon noted that the angle of the bag after you swing it around to the front made it difficult to remove the camera.....some even felt they were likely to drop the camera)." ..."What makes the bag hang at that awkward angle is the location of the strap attachment on the side of the bag.....it is lower than on the Velocity 7. As a result, the bag hangs at a tilt when you swing it around in front of you. I could never have enjoyed my skiing trips, or taken so many great pictures, if the 7 was this awkward to use."
Get a backpack you will be better served.
Finally the right sling bag.......2007-06-14
I now own three Velocity Sling Bags. I frist purchased the Velocity 9, as I thought the 7 would not be big enough to carry my Cannon 300 and now the 400XTI, along with room for Three lenses Cannon 17-40 f4L, the 24-105 F4L, and the Cannon 70-200 f4L. assorted filters,caps batteries, and memory cards. well it was too big, next tried the Velocity 7, too small had to leave one lense out, well the 8X solved all problems. in addition they did one thing I had hoped for the zipper flaps are on the inside of the pack now so you open it away from you. makes it easier to get at everything.
If I had but one more suggestion it would be to be able to lock the cover closed. In Europe one has to be careful of pick pockets and locks would allow me to leave the pack on my back while more through towns and villages.
