Battery Review.......2007-09-27
It works, it's beyond cheap compared to official models. It does not last as long as the original battery that came with the camera. I would say about 80% as long. I doubt it actually has the storage capacity the manufacturer claims. But I can buy five of them for the price of one of the Japanese made ones. So for my needs it works. But I suggest you should not believe it will last equal to or longer than the one that comes with the camera originally. Expect 80% the capacity for 10% of the price of the OEM battery. (1500 MAH appears bogus to me but I don't have accurate scientific equipment to verify it)
Buy the official Canon version, unless you really really can't afford it.......2007-08-20
I use a Rebel XT and this battery, while 1/3 the price of the Canon NB-2LH, only lasts 1/3 as long. I purchased this thinking I would only use it when the battery that came with my camera was recharging, but I found that in many cases it couldn't even even last through the whole day of shooting on a vacation. I ended up buying a second Canon NB-2LH and now only keep this around as an emergency backup.

they are spray painted silver over the original dark gray. 8.3V and actually 720mA. i have used them for a month. they tend to last about as along as the original canon battery.

I got my first battery when I originally bought my Canon G7 camera in November. It worked for a couple months, and then it simply would not charge. The charger said it was full after 2 minutes, put it in the camera, and it's completely dead. The packaging suggests letting charge a full 10+ hours, even when the charger says it's full, and then next time it will only take 2 hrs to charge. Tried it, let it charge all night, next morning tried it in camera, still dead. Sent it back. Received a replacement battery in February. Worked fine the first couple months, now it's doing the same thing the last one did. I'm done with these batteries. The Canon battery that came with my camera still works great! I'm getting a Canon battery this time.

I don't use my Xacti too often, I guess that is part of the reason my first battery died because I left on the charger constantly.
Anyway about this product, it matches the one that shipped with unit so there are no guessing games here. I charged it once about two months ago and have used my Xacti for about 10-15 minutes and the battery is still fully charged.
Product delivers as advertised, at least for my limited usage...
Genuine Sanyo Battery.......2007-09-02
This the the genuine Sanyo battery that came with the original camera package. I purchased "compatible" batteries but they died in about 10-15 minutes. This one lasts about twice that long for half an hour (even though Sanyo says their DB-L40 battery lasts an hour, in reality, it's only half of that!) Most compatible batteries last even much shorter.

It's definitely worth having a spare battery for your Xacti, but the Sanyo offering is very overpriced. I went to a well known auction site and got a third party battery with exactly the same specs for less than a quarter of the price. Same performance so far.

Another Nikon Battery RipOff.......2007-09-12
We gave this item 1 star because we were forced to do so. It deserves none. The item, sold as a 1500 mAh battery for the Nikon Coolpix 8700 (and others) arrived clearly labeled as an 800 mAh battery. So far, it has functioned almost as such, giving us about the same number of exposures as one would expect for a 700 mAh btty. Why does Amazon advertise it as twice the capacity? The reason is clear to us. Warning: Watch out for this manufacturer and--we're sorry to say--this vendor.
Battery schmattery.......2007-02-13
I had high hopes for this battery for my Nikon camera. It promised more MAH than the OEM battery that came with the camera. Unfortunately, it must be leaking electrons all over the place, since a charge in this model does not compare to the original. I would guess that the charge lasts half the life of the original Nikon battery. The price was cheap and you get what you pay for. If you are going to purchase this one, get two since you'll need to keep one charging while using the other. Cheers!

Digital Concepts 800 MAH Replacement Battery for Nikon EN-EL.......2003-10-14
Although not the NIKON product, this is same chemistry with higher density. That is 800 MaH (Milliamp-hrs) for this vs 600 MaH for Nikon's - lasts longer before needing recharge. Presuming it allows for as many recharge cycles, an excellent buy!

If you'e looking for a replacement or extra battery for your Nikon digital camera, this one beats the Nikon original hands down. Not only is it significantly cheaper, but it has a greater capacity. The Nikon battery is rated at 650 mAh. The Digital Concepts battery is rated at 800 mAh.

Mine came dead!.......2007-11-05
I've bought this battery to complement the one that came with my camcorder. Due to it's high capacity, I was hoping to be able to record a full disc without having to replace the battery. Since the battery arrived, I've tryied to charge it in the camcorder and also with my wall charger, unsucessfully. My multimeter shows it can't keep any energy, plain dead. I might have been unlucky, but there should be a more eficient Quality Control to avoid things like that. Since I live in Brazil, it's too expensive to ask for a replacement. Just had to trash it.

Misleading Product Name.......2007-09-21
I bought this battery for use on a Sony HDR-SR7 HD camcorder. The product name says "Adorama", "with Info", and "Replacement for the Sony NPFH-100", but those are misleading. What I received was actually a Power2000 brand, and it looks quite different from the picture. When I read "with Info" in the title, I expected it to be able to show its status on the camcorder's LCD screen. However, that's not the case. The SR7 actually says it can't work with this battery and shuts down in a few seconds.
The instruction is poorly written. For example, "Remark: Please take out of the battery if no use."
The instruction says on FH series Handicams you have to use the provided cable to connect the DC output of the battery and the DC input of the camcorder. On FP series Handicams it can be directly used without the cable. To charge the battery you have to use the Sony AC-L25A, AC-VQP10, or FP & FH series chargers. It didn't mention the BCTRP charger that I was going to buy. The battery cannot be charged when attached to the SR7.
Don't waste your money on it.

Bought two and neither will hold charge after 3 months........2007-10-31
I bought two of these batteries and they worked fine for a vacation which we were going on in July. The camera is rarely used, but it never fails that when we need to use it the battery has lost all charge and we can only get it to hold about 10 minutes worth of charge. We have slowly seen it decrease from a great battery in the first month to "where lucky if we can get 3 or 4 pictures in before it dies..........and that goes for both of them!!
